Do you guys think that magic Blue put on Gideon will mean something? It wasn’t really explained in episode what she did…. I assumed it was a protection spell but still… how suspicious given all we know.

Yeah, I mentioned this yesterday on another thread.
Today, I have a half-baked theory. That is, because Gideon is 1/4 fairy, there could be a special way to hide him. It could be up in the SB skies, I have no idea.
I mean, there were times when other people needed to hide but the fairies didn’t hide them anywhere. Or maybe it is particular to babies?
And if Blue F=Black Fairy, maybe she has a special fate for him in mind, unfortunately.

The nunnery. If Belle gave birth in the hospital, Blue could have just taken Gideon to her house.
The mental picture of Blu flying over Storybrooke with Gideon and turning around half way to get back to the convent cracked me up for some reason lol.
Anyhow, I doubt Blue has a house, wasn’t there an episode where Leroy was raising money for the nuns cause Mr. Gold wanted to kick them out because they hadn’t payed rent or something like that? Sounded like they used the convent as their residence. I could be imagining things though, I only slept 4 hours so XD.
Honestly, i am still on the edge about whether or not i believe that Gideon and Morpheus are the same person. If the writers hadn’t said it explicitly, there is no way i would think it was true. Even if it is true, then Morpheus is being manipulated by someone, somehow.
Yeah like how on Earth is Gideon going to be older by the next episode? I get they are doing the AU thing, but huh? I’m not sure I understand how that happens unless someone magically makes it happen. But Blue wouldn’t do that. Belle wouldn’t do that. Rumple certainly doesn’t want that. Neverland makes people not age……is there a place that makes people age that Blue could have taken Gideon? Is there a magical macguffin that happens to DO babies? Perhaps the child is already magically gifted (we saw Zelena move a tree) that he is able to age himself?

How exactly did Blue even carry Gideon? She’s big enough to fit into the palm of a human…. and he’s a human baby. Like he has to be at least twice her size and she’s just costing off into the sky 😛 I’m chuckling too hard at the thought of her struggling.
Anyway, every theory I have about Gideon being someone else in disguise keeps getting sidelined by the fact that his kiss did actually wake up Belle. I had an idea that Black Fairy is actually Gideon in disguise. So when A&E confirmed that Gideon was her son, they meant that that form really is the form of her son, but not that the person specifically was her son.
Unless Black Fairy loves Belle, it doesn’t work :/
I’m just really having so much trouble trying to understand how we get from baby Gideon being a baby, to a grown up killing emma swan…. Like that’s a very large gap.

My assumption was that it was a fairy godmother thing, in terms of her placing her protection over him and/or connecting herself to him as his fairy godmother?
Perhaps being his fairy godmother grants her certain abilities, such as always being able to locate him, hearing his call if he is in trouble etc?
I think Gideon could just magically be older, after all they made August young and then old again. Rumpel, also, offered to make Neal younger again. They also aged that fairy. It doesn’t seem like aging people is all that difficult.
Put me in the camp of the magic aging dust used on one of the fairies in the last episode will be the cause of Gideon aging. It seems oh too convenient that popped up last episode. It didn’t need to. It was used for canon purposes when they do it to Gideon.
