Gold mentioning baby being born in jail

Gold “I don’t think anyone wants to see that baby born in jail.”
Emma like crosses her arms and says “No, of course not.”

It was like Gold knew what to say to manipulate Emma. I wonder how much Gold knows about Emma’s past. I am assuming he still has his fake memories alongside his real memories, so i wonder what he knew and when he knew it. They need to explain more about all this.

I don’t think we know yet if Gold has any fake memories. They established in “Skin Deep” that Gold remembers who he is, and he said to Regina, “Now that we’re being honest with each other…” He didn’t say, “Now that I remember who I am,” or something along those lines. I think it makes more sense that Rumplestiltskin/Gold had all of his memories the whole time. That explains why he would have gotten Henry for Regina, rather than just a HUGE coincidence. It explains his use of “please” with Regina.

We know that Rumple gave/sold the curse to Regina, and it is probable that he created it. It makes sense that he would have created a loophole for himself. Knowing he would retain his memories explains why he secured Regina’s promise to grant him anything if he says please, and why he was so desperate to know the name of Snow’s baby.

That said, I think we can safely assume that Gold has been following Emma’s life and whereabouts since the beginning. I agree that his comment about Ashley’s baby being born in jail was a very pointed remark, knowing that Emma could relate to that.

I think he does though because he seems to know legal issues and so on and he has been able to blend in. He knows how to drive a car. He knows about money. I think there must be something there. Like Jefferson said about the two worlds waring with him. He knew about the civil war and to call Emma’s car a bug.

I think that Gold remembered when he met Emma and heard her name in Granny’s Inn. I think that was the loophole. That was why he was so desperate to know Snow’s child’s name.That doesn’t explain how he found Henry for Regina though and i agree that was always the biggest evidence that he knows, but there could be another explanation and i really hope that there is.
