So we haven’t been told what Gold’s first name is and we know that they all have something to do with their other life (David was Shepard’s real name; Mary and Margarette were alises Snow used ect.)

That’s a pretty popular theory around here. Slurpeez108 suggested it awhile back. I think it will probably turn out that way. But he’ll always be Rumple. <3

Hey I had a freaky moment last night with the Darcy thing (People in chat know what I’m talking about) so maybe Gold’s name will turn out to be Neal.
If I were betting on it, I’d put all my money down on Malcolm, though.

I still like the name Damian as Mr Gold’s first name. Maybe we’ll find out Mr Gold’s name in Save Henry. It could be Malcolm, however if that was the case, why wouldn’t they reveal it in the episode with Rumple’s father. Alternatively, the curse could’ve given Rumple the name Malcolm because turning into his father would’ve made him the most unhappy.
