I think it’s healthy to separate myself from Once Upon A Time, and yes, even from my admiration of Colin O’Donoghue. Sadly, much as it hurts me to say so, I don’t think he appreciates much as we do him. While other cast members have been warm and gracious in recent weeks, Colin didn’t even so much as say thanks to his fans last night, some of who until their fingers were numb to help nominate him to win something notable as a “People’s Choice” award. He didn’t win, but the nomination itself, was an honor. I was disappointed, deflated, disillusioned, and hurt to see this, and so many people taken for granted, and nobody out there wants to call a “duck” a “duck” to highlight something so hurtful.
While thinking about this, I realized that here I am, a happily married woman, who has prospects of becoming a mother to a wonderful daughter, and yet I’m here putting so much personal importance upon an ingratious Hollywood actor like a teenage schoolgirl. That opened my eyes, and brought me to do some thinking. God has really blessed us. I am grateful for what He has done. Here we are with a beautiful baby girl, and so much favor. Amid all that, I have allowed my appreciation for a fictional program to take up too much space in my heart. Once Upon A Time has become waaaaay too important to me. This isn’t fair to my husband, it’s not fair to my daughter, and it’s not fair to me. For the sake of my relationship with God, for the sake of my appreciation for what God has given me and for my family, I will be leaving this page. It is for these reasons, in addition to others which I have decided to do this. If true that Hook will be killed off in episode 15 as a twitter post suggested, then I would rather protect my feelings by getting out now, rather than later, anyway. I appreciate all of you, and want all of you to know God loves you. I want you all to be wonderfully blessed. This will probably be my last post here, folks. I hope the best for each and every one of you. God bless.

Well sorry to see you leave just because Colin didn’t thank his fans what on TV, I don’t think that is an excuse to dump him in my opinion. Perhaps he said something on twitter and that would reach more fans I think then on TV. I didn’t watch the award show so I can’t really justify why he over looked a thank you if you really like the guy I think you should just let him have a Mulligan like they do in golf give him one more chance you might be surprise.
But it is your life and it sounds like you are very blessed with a family and such I hope God continues to bless you and your family in any case.
PS I wouldn’t believe all those rumors about Hook being killed in 3.15, didn’t they spread rumors before about Hook quitting etc. I don’t know I am not a real fan of Hook but you should know if you had kept up with him.
Even if he didn’t say anything on the computer i don’t see it as a reason to dump him either. I didn’t see JMO or others say anything. If their busy doing their job they can’t just jump onto something and say thanks.
Sorry to see you go, Sarah. And not to try and change your mind but, for what it’s worth, those rumors about Hook in 315 were started by an internet troll who’s only intent was to cause trouble because the fandom is in hiatus and I think we’ve all gone a wee bit nuts.
But I totally respect your decision if you think this show is taking too much space in your life. Good luck with your family!

I support your decisions wholeheartedly. I understand completely your choice to spend your free time with your family, friends, and God. I know your family will reap the rewards of your love and your time.
God bless you on your journeys. I hope your life is full of happy joyful moments. By leaving our obsessive fandom you are leaving room to build real memories for yourself and those whose lives you touch.
Sara I am sorry to see you go. I can understand re-assessing your commitments and adjusting your activities. This is a show and it is meant to be entertaining and should not overtake someone’s life. It’s important to keep balanced. i hope that you are able to use the hiatus as a break and come back and watch the show in the Spring without it becoming too overwhelming. Hopefully, it will be just fun for you.
I hope you don’t stay mad at Colin. He seems like a nice person. he’s got a lot on his plate with a new son and having his wife move to Canada away from family and friends who could help with the baby and with home sickness. I think between the baby, the extreme work schedule, the minimal Christmas break for him (I don’t think he got the same deal as Robert C. to fly homemade for five weeks), Colin may be tapped out. I’ve thought he looks more tired this season and his skin isn’t as fresh. to be honest I think he has also gained a pound or two. Also Colin may not realize how much effort CSers put in.

@Sarah_TN I’m sad to see you go. But yeah, I understand your reason for leaving. I hope you can forgive Colin too. He’s an actor and he has a job to do. I think he knows how much his fans love him but twitter can’t take up his whole time too because of his job.
