Well I’m pretty angry. Not because Zelena is dead, I never liked her. But because it looks like Rumple is going back to the man he used to be, which feels so contradictory to what we saw in 3×11.
He lied to Belle. He manipulated her.
What are your final thoughts on Zelena as a villain? (And why did she turn to glass…)

Well either she faked her death once again, or Hook and Emma go back in time to stop Rumple from killing her. THat way he didn’t betray Belle! problem solved! 🙂

It reminds me of when he cursed Regina with the pendant thing in season two.

He didn’t have to go through the whole routine of “I’m giving you the dagger because I trust you” when she was already giving him the dagger. Killing Zelena was that last job he had to do. After killing Zelena, he probably went straight back home, swapped the fake dagger back for the real one and settled back down in bed with Belle who was probably asleep. Also since Rumple made the “deal” with Bae to avenge him, I think in Rumple’s mind he had to fulfil that deal since he’d already broken one deal with Bae (letting him go through the portal alone) so Rumple didn’t want to break another. I do hope Belle finds out and gives him what for because he was being deceitful to her, although he didn’t actually promise not to kill Zelena. But I hope the writers don’t use it as an excuse to separate RumBelle yet again.

I have mixed feelings about her death. I thought it was going to be a bigger deal. Some big showdown battle extraordinaire, but Rumple just stabbed her and she was gone. Felt anticlimactic. I really don’t like that he lied to Belle. And yet at the same time, it’s such a Rumpelstiltskin thing to do. It’s very unlike him to let the murder of his son go, just like that. Without consequences. He spent centuries looking for him and now he’d simply let his killer walk? But yeah, Belle… She trusted him and he betrayed that trust. So it has two sides for me, though I gotta say: Ding Dong the Witch is DEAD!

May 5, 2014 at 7:52 am #266426The Swan PrincessParticipantNo way she’s dead. He stabbed her and she got broken?!? That can’t be real.
a) It’s like Rumple’s dream at the end of season 2 when he turned Henry into a doll and broke him.
b) It’s looks to me like the flashback scene when Zelena “melted”.
So either Rumple’s dreaming it or Zelena’s faking it. If she’s powerless than she should have died like a normal person bleeding from a stab wound.
You know what I can't continue with the dead people brought back to life list I'm out of space in the signature and now we have an underworld arc this is to much I quit why do you bring so many people back to life OUAT WHHHYYYY

My final thoughts ? Well, if she’s REALLY dead, then it could be the permanent death A&E have been talking about during 3B.

Neal wouldn’t have wanted this. Rumple just took a big ol’ giant leap backwards on his way down Redemption Road. And as for Belle, she’s not going to be happy. It was an exact parallel to 201 Broken where Belle asked him not to give into his hate and go after Regina. And then he did and when she found out, she left. She came back later but Regina was alive. I don’t think even Belle can forgive this one so readily. Especially when his proposal, while sincere, was tied up in trickery and deception

I agree Neal wouldn’t have wanted Rumple to kill in his name. I just don’t want RumBelle separated yet again. Belle should totally give Rumple a piece of her mind ad make him work for her forgiveness but the writers don’t have to use this as an excuse to separate them.

If all she does is give him a piece of her mind over *murder* then all the criticisms that anti-Rumbelle fans throw at the ship will be true. She shouldn’t just be mad she should be LIVID. He promised her and then proceeded to trick her WHILE proposing to her.
