I get the feeling that the Joker is someone the writers want to explore more in season two (which is a definite).  So probably then, we might get introduced to our future Harley Quinn.

I think they will tease joker for a bit.

If they were to introduce Harley I say make her kid at Bruce school. Harley from what I recall was a person who followed the rules strictly and seldom got in any trouble, a perfectionist even. I know in the Batman 90s cartoon she was psychologist (maybe an intern?) who had was treating Joker and fell in love. Either way I think she is either the same age as Bruce or younger.

I would love for Ms. Harley to be the honor roll straight A always the good girl at Bruce private school.

Provided the higher ups at DC will let them use those characters at this time. They wanted to use Harley on Arrow, but were told no, because DC/WB had plans for Harley in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. So there’s a chance they won’t be allowed to show a conclusive Joker on Gotham until after the movie has been and gone, because Joker’s gonna be in the movie too. [conspiracy theory]They recently “killed off” (no body shown) Deadshot on Arrow, and effectively disbanded the show’s version of the Suicide Squad of which he was the main member, and then the agent who typically leads missions for the Squad quit her job. General belief in the fandom is that this was done because of the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, which will star Will Smith in the role of Deadshot. Basically, it seems they don’t want competing versions of the Squad and its related characters on TV at the same time the movie is being hyped. The showrunner said that Deadshot was, “off the table for the nonce”, which sounds like they were instructed to (at least temporarily) remove him from their list of available characters.[/conspiracy theory]

    FIIIISSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    its too soon too soon

I hope this won’t be how they kill her off. An intense character like Fish needs to go out in a blaze of glory, not bleed out slowly.

I like the Ogre, they’ve set him up as a formidable villain to finish out the season with.

BabyBatCat are precious and I love seeing them team up.

    Bruce Wayne, accessory to murder.

No, Batman would never have anything to do with Catwoman after that.

I think Thomas Jr has been trying to live up to his dead brother Bruce’s perfect image, even insisting that Thomas Sr’s PTSD patient Alfred call him by his brother’s name.

I think this is Owlman’s Gotham.

Just watched the newest episode. I’m actually disappointed Barbara didn’t die. I’m waiting for it, waiting and she managed to survive. I guess, it’s only a Revenge thing. All my least favorite characters die on Revenge.

Looks like Oswald was right. There is a war coming.

I feel the same way about Clara on Doctor Who. I’m waiting for her to leave and am disappointed when she doesn’t. The Christmas special was ruined by her deciding to stay.

I’m a little behind on Gotham but we’re going to get the first Ogre episode on Monday and I’m looking forward to it. 🙂

Finally got caught up for this week.

I thought this was a much better episode than what we’ve seen in a long time. I enjoy the Ogre; I’d be more than okay if he was a villain for a season or half a season. He’s compelling, he’s genuinely scary, and he’s played by Milo! He’s been far more successful than the Scarecrow, or the Joker, who I fear might never resurface. He makes realize that this show could be something really good if it just slowed down on trying to cram as much into one season as possible. He actually made Barbara interesting! Well, more interesting at least, a feat I thought would be impossible. I would really like it she just went full on psycho and then went on a killing spree with the Ogre. But of course, they went and killed him. Because I can’t have anything good on this show.

The rest of plots were more or less “meh.” I did enjoy Nygma’s story this week. I really wish the writers would give him more to do; I find him just as fun to watch as Penguin, though in the latter’s case, he’s starting to bore me since they just keep him rather static and stationary. Though, at least, this week something was finally *done* The letter from Nygma was cute.

    Baby Batman…I just don’t care. I want to. But i just don’t.

Really could have done without the seemingly random BDSM club scene. I don’t have a problem with sex on TV or even “kinky” sex but it has to feel relevant and not like it’s just for shock value (like the sound of an electric saw and a squealing pig in the background)

And I’ve said this before but Ben McKenzie is just bored/boring in this role. “I thought it was my devastating good look….that was a joke.” But yet it was delivered flatly and without any sense or humor. I almost snooze when he’s on screen.

I just wanna keep Fish Mooney!!!! Please, for the sake of everything, someone convince Jada Pinkett to stay!!!!!!

And Barbra….kill her, have her leave, I don’t care what happens to her, but she cannot have Jim!!!! I’m shipping Jeslie to the end! #RootingForLeslie
