Idk, I can see it. A lot of people’s hair gets darker as they go through puberty, and the eyes and nose are the same.
Their noses are totally the same. If you imagine the kid with darker hair, and look at a pic of Eion without the stubble, there’s a definite similarity IMO.
No I was so excited to know that August was coming back and now he’s not so no more hotttt August…I so wanted him to become a reg on the show again

My biggest hate for this show was for Henry’s father to be Baelfire, and it looks like it’s going to happen. I had decided I would continue to watch only if Eion Bailey comes back as a full fledged character, but it looks like he won’t, so this episode will probably be my last one.
If it’s true and he don’t come back, well, nice knowing you guys. I’m a fan of the Star Trek and Avenger related movies coming out, so maybe I’ll see you around the net talking about those. Cheers.
Well of course they don’t look alike, a small child isn’t going to look like that studly wooden man :p
(All I can do is make jokes right now, seeing as those spoilers have broken my little wooden heart…. Waaah august come back to me!)
Maybe Pinocchio as a boy will become a friend for Henry?
Time to hide your crazy, and start acting like a lady.

Yes, I hope so. I posted BTS pics of the actors who play both characters hanging out together.

I’m sure he’ll get a memory wipe when he gets turned back to a boy, but I can’t stop picturing little boy Pinocchio waiting until nobody’s looking and then whispering to Henry, “This one time… in Phuket…” 😯

lol, yes, his time in Phuket definitely squicks me out because I keep imagining him as either a wooden puppet or a young boy, and I really, really, really don’t want to know what he did over there because of that. (Shudder)
I’m pretty sure the writers may be taking their cue from the graphic novel _Fables_ — in the novel, Pinocchio is stuck as a permanent adolescent and there’s some comment in the story about him wanting to grow up and get through puberty. (_Fables_ is published by DC comics, but the rights to produce a series were bought out by ABC before ABC was bought out by Disney/Marvel. Once is based on the idea, even though the corporate heads stalled production on _Fables_ is by their competition.) The GN is hilarious if you’ve not read it. Once would almost have to give Pinocchio a memory wipe to make this work — there’s no way all that “adult” knowledge, in the sense of being a grown up as well as knowledge of his past actions, would work without giving boy-Pinocchio some major mental issues…
