As for where the chase occurs, my bet is Manhattan or Phuket. Probably not SB.
Phuket is definitely another option. Looking at the avi of the girl who tweeted about being an extra in the scene, I could buy her as being a Phuket local.

According to Vancity Filming, Jennifer Morrison and Eion Bailey shared a scene together while he’s in a green suit, presumably for CGI effects to be added later. The green suit makes me think August could still be a wooden man, so maybe Emma could use her magic to make him a real man again.
Source: https://twitter.com/VancityFilmingPlus, there were sightings of MRJ and Keegan (who plays the BF) on set, too!

Maybe this will be where he fesses up to Emma about how he screwed her over, and then eavesdropping Blue will make him human again as a reward for finally being honest? Looks like he’s on the ground, in a reclining position, like he was in the scene where Blue originally made him a real boy, so it’d be a nice little mirror to that scene, especially if Geppetto pops up here too.
February 13, 2013 at 12:52 pm #172937oceangypsyParticipantDid you all ready Vancity Filming’s newest spoiler? It appears as though August gets transformed into a little kid again by the Blue Fairy. I guess August wishes he could do life over again.
I am really, really bummed out if this is true. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to go on watching the show if they pull such crap. It’s like all his character development was for nothing. The worst kind of twist to pull in a show: the reset button.
Hopefully Vancity misinterpreted the scene they filmed, but it does seem kind of damning. Eion was lying on the ground and then Jakob (young Pinocchio) took his place and filming resumed.
I guess the writers really wanted to write Eion off but didn’t want to kill Pinocchio in fear of Disney’s fiery retribution?

There is always the possibility that Eion doesn’t want to return as a regular on the show. Some of these actors want to be free to do other things. I believe someone said that is why Barbara Hershey turned down regular status and I think Josh Dallas had to pass on Thor 2 because he was a regular.
Glad to see Neal there and Blue Fairy…it’s about time BF got something more to do rather than just throwing fairy dust…hopefully she’ll have dialog this time.
February 13, 2013 at 1:31 pm #172945MyrilParticipantLooks like the Blue Fairy has her wand back, in Storybrooke.
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

Yes, I just read that, and while it does seem silly to have August be the only one to do a do over if Eion Bailey doesn’t want to return, or if the rumors are true and that there are issues that other people involved with the show have with Bailey. This might be the best way to handle the Pinocchio situation without killing him off since Disney may not want them to kill off an iconic character like Pinocchio and perhaps forces them to be more creative with his story line because I think killing him off would be really easy way to go. I just hope it’s done well and doesn’t come across too cheesy even for this show because there is a fine line there, and a few times they have unfortunately crossed it, imo.
Plus, this might open the door for Henry to hang around people his own age more next season since I think he and Pinocchio will continue being good friends. It also opens up the door more to the idea that Rumple might want to try this on Nealfire. I would hope that he wouldn’t do something so stupid, but we already had a hint in “The Crocodile” that in FTL, he could make someone be young again, so there’s a possibility that he could do the same in Storybrooke if he wished to. I don’t know what would cause him to do something like that, but if he finds out about the Blue Fairy doing it to Pinocchio, he might be really tempted to redo those missing years with Nealfire. (Of course, I don’t think they’d make the situation with Nealfire permanent if they did in fact go that route because of Henry and Emma, but if MRJ had some kind of scheduling conflict, assuming they don’t make him a regular next season, they could do make Nealfire younger for a few episodes until he became available again.)
February 13, 2013 at 1:34 pm #172947RumplesGirlKeymasterTurning him back into a kid would explain why the man who plays Gepetto would be working with the child actor. He tweeted he was working with them both and in my head it didn’t add up since I didn’t think we’d see anymore of Pin. and Gep in FTL. Not sure how I feel about this story line though.
Seeing the BF with August and Neal! All my theories about them working together might actually add up!"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 13, 2013 at 1:39 pm #172949PheeParticipantThe VCF site isn’t loading for me right now so I can’t see exactly what they said, but I’m hoping they interpreted events wrongly. One of things that would annoy me about it would be that it wouldn’t be consistent for Gepetto to get his child back as a child to make up for those lost years, because they surely won’t do the same for Bae and Rumple, or Emma and the Charmings, or even Henry and Emma.
Also, August has things he needs to be held accountable for, and I doubt they could wrap that all up properly in one ep, and if he reverts to being a kid, then that can’t all be properly resolved.
It’d be disappointing on multiple levels if they go that route with the character, so here’s hoping it won’t be the case.

Totally agree, Phee. I feel like it’s a disservice to the character and the fans.
Yeah, I know. It could be because Eion doesn’t want to be a regular (or recurring). (I REALLY don’t believe those “rumors” that have been spread–it was even stated the set guy was joking around). But, even if Eion wants out, why not write him off some other way? Have him leave town, fade into the background, something. At least if they did that it would keep him open to re-appearing. If he turns into a kid, it’s a pretty permanent change. Also, it completely erases all of his character development. It’s like he never existed.
Furthermore, it sets a precedent. Emma can turn back into an infant so Charming and Snow can raise her! Nealfire can get another go with Rumple! Everyone can reclaim their youth! I mean… bzuh?
Maybe we’ll get to hear about this from Eion’s perspective after the episode airs. If it was his call, then I’d feel much better about it. As of now, I am very disappointed in this sort of character treatment. Mind wipes and resets are the worst.
