Hello everyone. I have been watching Once Upon a Time since the PILOT first aired last fall and am loving it. I only just stumbled upon this podcast a few months ago and am only now just listening to it while re-watching the episodes via the BLURAY set I just got. I am loving it so far and it is very entertaining and engrossing.
I am a Fringe fan and some of you may know me on twitter as The Raggedy Observer (I even sent in some feedback to The Fringe Podcast). I am also a Whovian (fan of Doctor Who), a fan of Eureka, Warehouse 13, Star Wars, Back to the Future, and many more sci-fi shows and movies. I am also a huge Harry Potter fan.
As for Lost, I watched the first 5 seasons a few months before the final season premiered and was all caught up and was able to watch the final season live with everyone else. I am not that huge of a Lostie probably because I rushed through the seasons but I really loved the Time Travel plotline in the fifth season and was disappointed with the last season in that it wasn’t a parallel universe at all like I had presumed after watching the Season 5 finale.
As you can tell I love time travel and parallel universes. Which is the chief reason why I was so interested in this series in that it deals with the parallel universe of Fairy Tale Land and also because I grew up loving fairy tales and Harry Potter.
I can’t wait to discuss Season 2 and beyond with you all and hope to have many a long discussion theorizing what we think will happen next![adrotate group="5"]September 7, 2012 at 12:56 am #153580storybrookeobserverParticipantOh, and I forgot to add I am a writer as well and am currently writing a Doctor Who/Fringe crossover fanfic, a time travel series, and am thinking about writing a Doctor Who/ONCE fic set during Season 2…
September 7, 2012 at 12:59 am #153581storybrookeobserverParticipantYet another thing I forgot to add is that I grew up watching the Wizard of Oz (1930s version) and that was probably instrumental in my love for Sci-Fi today. I also have watched Syfy’s reimaginings of Oz (Tin Man), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), and Peter Pan (Neverland).

nope, I have only seen the original movie. I want to read the originals but haven’t gotten the chance to yet. I do have the OUAT fairy tale collection as well as a Barnes and Noble Grimm’s Fairy Tale collection and just need to get a hold of the OZ books and Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass/Peter Pan….

I’ve known some of the team from The Fringe Podcast for a while, and actually have a nice intro bumber from Darrell. 🙂

Darrell is an awesome person to know. He lost the ‘Banana’ bet during season 3 and had to eat some bananas which brought alot of humor on to the show…. maybe you should do something similar on your podcast like make a prediction early in the season? (something like do you think the curse will be broken in season 1? and if it is you have to do something….?)
