If the baby is a boy, I hope they would honor Neal. I think it’d be very befitting, and would tip a hat to both the story, and to the fans. I think it’d be very nice, if the baby’s name is Neal Baelfire.
Why???
Neal is only tied to Henry not to Snow or David. If anything they would name the baby after someone in their own family Snow or David’s dad, or mothers but someone they never knew come on I think that is really a little too much in my opinion.

Keeper of FelixI really like RG’s suggestion of Snowing having a baby girl named Hope as it works on so many levels.
“Happy endings start with Hope”
If the snowing baby gets kidnapped, the twitter hashtag can be #FindingHope which is what the characters would have to do both literally and metaphorically.
If Snowing palm off the baby like Emma palms off Henry, then we can joke about which character is going to have Hope today.
If Hope grows up and gets fired from her job, we can joke that Hope isn’t working anymore.

Perhaps this baby will tie into that movie Frozen, which I never saw.
I can’t remember where it was I heard this, but sometimes you can tell the gender of the baby based on the type of clothing the mother wears. I’m not sure how accurate that is. But if it’s a girl, the more will feel more inclined to dress pretty, very feminine. But if it’s a boy, the mother will dress more tomboy like.
It’s Not Easy Being Green and Quiet Minds, Mary Margaret dressed very feminine but this past episode, she dressed tomboyish. So I think the writers and possibly the wardrobe department like to play on that because it keeps us guessing.

When you name a child after a deceased family member or friend, you are honoring their life, and binding their memory to to the blessings of the future. It’s not a memory of death.
However, I LOVE the suggestion of Hope.
But….. Mary Margaret does tend to wear a lot of blue these days.
OK, based on my thinking that it’ll be a boy, named after Charming’s father, who I hope has an Arthurian connection, I’ve decided to nominate Tristan for the name. Since Charming said no to Leopold, I was looking through a list of Arthurian characters, to see which of the Knights’ names sounded the most normal. 😛 Not only does Tristan sound like it could be a modern name, but his mother’s name was Blanchefleur, which made me think Blanchard.
(Plus it would allow for a cool backstory if Ruth was really Isolde. In some versions of the Tristan and Isolde legend, they run off together and have kids. And they get together due to a love potion, which sounds like a stunt Rumple might pull to get them together if he’s foreseen that he’ll need their sons.)
So I’m taking a stab and betting my cookies on Tristan.
