Most to the time the hair looks pretty good… on all of the ladies… but there are times……

SNOW’s Wedding hair … Looks like she got her finger stuck in a socket and it is standing on end ( pilot)

Regina’s Evil Witch Queen hair …. seen in STRANGER AND APPLE AS RED AS BLOOD…. Could it be more piled on with wigs and extensions… Reminded me of BRIDE of FRANKENSTEIN ….

Emma’s unwashed HAT HAIR …. there seems to be continuity problems here… in one scene her hair seems newly washed then it looks like it neglected… this seems to occur at intervals through out the season…

    ANY THOUGHTS

I’ve been a great admirer of the hair styles on this show, but I have noticed that the nastier EQ gets, the wilder her hair gets. And I agree about Snow’s wedding hair–it needs some conditioner.

Totally agree with Snow’s wedding hair. LOL

Emma’s hair used to bug me when it was always perfectly coiffed and feathered, then someone pointed out on another forum that fairytale princesses just roll outta bed with that magically perfect hair, so it’s not like she had to spend hours doing it each day. 😉 I like that her hair has been looking a bit rough lately.

Ha ha! Jenny had also said the same thing about Snow’s wedding hair!

I asked for a Mary Margaret pixie last month and ended up with a Regina do. 😈 Actually it turned out more of a combination between the two with it looking more like a version of Regina’s when it was shorter, only even shorter. I had shoulder-length hair and as I was sitting there I was thinking, “oh, that’s an awful lot of hair coming off.” It’s been a month and now I remember why I don’t wear really short hair…I like the feel of it and get lots of compliments, but my hair is baby fine and grows really fast and I’d have to get it cut at least every three weeks to maintain a short style. So I’m growing it out into an ear length “louise brooks bob”.

I, too, get annoyed sometimes with Emma’s hair. I think it’s the extensions that are too much. When her hair is all princessy I keep about how much time she has to sit in the chair to get it to look like that. I love, love, love Mary Margaret’s hair. though. I know people make fun of her ears sticking out and say she looks like a boy, but I think it’s adorable on her.

Most of the time I can’t really tell that the actor’s are wearing wigs/extensions. I think the hairdresser does pretty amazing with Regina’s hair, going back and forth between her nature short hair to the Evil Queen’s longer hair. I think the most obvious cases of wigs, to me anyway, actually dealt with some of the men. For instance, Shepherd James at the beginning of “The Shepherd” and then Jefferson in the Fairytale World.

I really don’t think it would take that long for Emma to do her hair. I don’t see why people see that as an issue. I mean my hair is pretty long right now and i don’t do anything to it and it looks similar enough to Emma’s. Emma has more curl then mine, but that wouldn’t take all that long for someone to do. And is she really wearing extensions her hair is pretty long at the moment?

I’m actually more in love with male characters’ hair than the females. 😆 Jefferson and Graham’s hair are to die for. 😀 I also love Emma’s hair and Belle’s hair in episode 1×14, “Dreamy.”

But I do agree that Snow’s wedding hair was a bit too obvious. It looked way too fake. But thankfully, it got better as the season progressed.

I guess it depends on what type of hair you have. If mine was the length of Emma’s, it would take a miracle to get even a wave to stay. My hair is stick straight with no curl or even wave to it. And it’s resistant to any type of curl. I’m the type that even with hot rollers my hair is totally straight ten minutes after they’re out. On the flip side, I don’t even need to own a flat iron. All I have to do is run a brush through it. Of course, you want what you don’t have. I dream of having a head full of ringlets and just have to accept it’s never going to happen. In fact, I’m currently in love with Merida’s wild mess of curls in the upcoming Disney movie Brave. Alas, it will never be.

I was watching “The Shepherd” the other day and just kept thinking what a good haircut does to a guy. That wig made Charming look horrible, but his real hair is fabulous.
