I not only loved the 10th Kingdom, but I bought the DVD’s.
I haven’t seen it in a while, but now that we’ve mentioned it, I think I’m going to dig the DVD’s out and watch it once more.

    Don't grow up. It's a trap.

I picked up the novelization of it at a used book store. At least it’s better than the ONCE novelizations excerpt, but it is still not beautifully crafted prose or anything. It has a few pictures of the 10kingdom characters. It’s part of my “get through hiatus” kit though.

And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

I watched it during the last hiatus with my boyfriend on Netflix. So incredibly cheesy 😆 Just a LOT of cheese, but a very good production of cheese.

    Oh yes, I’ve seen it!

I saw it when it first aired – I was in middle school then. It’s a favorite of mine!

Watched the mini-series. I wasn’t as big of a fan of it as I am of SyFy’s “Alice”. Thought that was a stellar story. It is similar to Once since it brings in modern day with fairy tales. Also, love the Hatter in that one.

I saw The 10th Kingdom when it originally premiered on NBC as a mini-series. Sadly, the ratings weren’t good enough to warrant a sequel. I wanted one so badly!

I loved that miniseries. I saw it when it first came out, and I bought it a few years ago. You guys are making me want to rewatch it. 😀

I got the DVD, I loved it that much. And I LOVED Wolfie… *hmm, another bad guy, this is getting worse and worse*

    Now I must rewatch it.

I was a pretty big fan of the miniseries, although I didn’t watch it when it first came out. I was sad that the fandom seemed to be small and fairly inactive by the time I got to it. (I was only a few years late!) I went back and rewatched it all on Netflix last year and enjoyed myself all over again, after I set my brain to “super cheesy”. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea because it is a little campy at times but I think it’s a fun ride. I wish they’d been able to make a sequel as they hinted at the very end.

it did introduce an awesome fairytale curse phrase suck an elf! 😆 😆, but there were also times I was like, oh, this is not a kiddie friendly TV movie. 😆 I didn’t know there was supposed to be a sequel. what would have happened there?
