No he’s not the Wizard or Oz, he’s not he Tin man, the Scarcrow , Peter Pan, Bae, a Grimm, or Lampwick or the wardrobe made human! August is freakin’ Pinocchio! wow it was a lot of responsibility to put on his shoulders at a young age. Gepptto had faith in his son but in the end Pinocchio left Emma behind. Now I don't know what'll get Emma to believe, I thought for sure the leg thing would do it but wow they hit us with the “in such denial literally can't see what's in front of her.” I just don't know what else Pinocchio is gonna be able to do to convince Emma

Reading the synopsis before this episode and just watching the promo’s before too it seems like Emma is leaving Henry behind. I'm so glad that she isn't. She wants to take him and who knows if Regina can follow them out if they get that far but the key is Emma is taking Henry and leaving Storybrooke. I'm with you though Pinocchio was suppose to be there to raise Emma with this idea and he didn't so now I think more than ever it comes back to Henry convincing his mom.
April 30, 2012 at 8:54 am #144749SlurpeezParticipantI thought all of the signs pointed to Pinocchio. I liked Pinocchio much more than Geppetto in this episode, even though I understand why Geppetto did what he had to do to save his son. Apparently, if Pinocchio had come to SB with everybody else with the curse, he’d have become a puppet. It seems like the characters revert back to the original substance from which they came. For instance, Jiminy, who was a man before he was turned into a cricket my magic, became a man again. Pinocchio, who was a wooden puppet before a real boy, would have turned back into a puppet. That is exactly what we see is happening now. Ever since Emma decided to stay in SB, August said his leg has been turning into wood. It’s interesting that Emma, who’s in denial, cannot see it.
I think that Emma’s parents, Mary Margaret and David, will have to believe before Emma does. I think they may be the ones to convince her of her true identity. I don’t think Henry has been very successful yet at convincing Emma. Operation Cobra has been going on for months now without much success.

I think Emma is very close to believing, but I also think it will be Henry who convinces her.

April 30, 2012 at 8:16 pm #144881fairycutie86ParticipantI’m pretty happy at the true reveal of who August is. I think I’ve been with most fans where we’re all like 50/50 over whether he was Bae or Pinocchio. His reveal wasn’t a big “ahah” moment, but it was still amazing to finally get the truth. One question to be ticked off the list.
August is a hot Pinocchio, though 😆 Does that make me weird?

Not any weirder than fans who obsess over Rumpelstiltiskin (don’t hate please, to each her/his own). I’m with you though. August is definitely attractive. As long as I remind myself he is adult Pinocchio, it’s all good.
