Hello this is TheWendybird from the podcast chatroom. For one reason or another I have not been actively typing on the forums lol So, here I am.
My real name is Krista, I turned 29 in January but I’m really still a kid at heart..hence the name ;D
I am married to Peter Pan (who some of you also know from the chat lol), his real name is Chris…yes I know Chris and Krista it was twu wuv! ;P We met in 2007 through my Peter Pan videos on youtube.I’m originally from Newfoundland, Canada but now live in the Tri-State region with my husband.
I’ve been obsessed with fairy tales since I was little (haven’t we all? 😀 ). My first love in fairy tales was Beauty and the Beast when I saw it in a story book my cousin had. I was so gone over it. So I have a special place in my heart for Rumple and Belle. I still remember re-enacting fairy tales all the time even when i was by myself. And I loved it when my Grandma told me stories before bed sometimes. Ironically one of the main ones she use to tell me was about another girl and her Grandma….Red Riding Hood 🙂 Though I must say I don’t remember the part with Red turning into a wolf…but I gotta say…it’s so cool! lol
I have a special love of Peter Pan. Once Upon a Time not only intrigues me due to the fact it’s simply an awesome show but in the fact that I’ve seen my life imitate art when it comes to the story. So sometimes I have moments while watching the show of going “Gee…I kinda get how these people must feel in a weird way” lol. No, I don’t fly…though I wish my life would imitate that part of the story for real lol I have so many things I could list off with the Wendy stuff but I don’t wanna bore you 🙂
Aside from fairy tales I’m a HUGE fan of The Phantom of the Opera. Not specifically the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical…but all of it. That’s been a part of my life now since i was 7 years old.
We’ve been listening to the podcast for quite a while but only this past month finally dropped into the live chat 😀 So hey fellow Oncers! 😀
