ParticipantHi! Just found this site and subscribed to podcast. I’m looking forward to getting caught up listening to all of them. I’m a 45 yo mom of two. My 9yo daughter and I watch OUAT religiously. We are starting to really try to piece together our theories of what’s going on, and I figured an online forum would be a fun place to share. Nice to be here!

KeymasterWelcome to the forums, Stacy! How does your daughter enjoy the show? Sounds like ABC is succeeding in appealing to families.

ParticipantHi my name is Natali and I’m new 🙂 Nice to meet you all
I tired very hard to find a fun OUAT forum and this one seems perfect for me!
I have become obsessed with the show. I was a lost fan too so I love trying to figure out all the little Easter eggs / references/ and piecing up the storiesI’m a little shy when it comes to posting theories and stuff but I am excited to read all of yours and hopefully I’ll toughen up and share my thoughts with you guys as well! 😉

ParticipantWelome here! No need to be shy, there are no wolves here (as far as I know only #littlereds 😉 ). Sometimes it’s just nice to get a theory out there, even if you yourself aren’t convinced of it.

Thanks. Annika loves the show and understands it remarkably well for a nine year old! She is a very smart kid and enjoys the complexities. She had a great theory about last night’s episode that turned out to be incorrect, but that I thought was pretty insightful for a 3rd grader. I think I’m allowed to mention what it is since the episode has aired, but just in case
**SPOILER ALERT**
Annika’s theory was that the queen (Regina) had MM’s (Snow White’s) finger prints from fairy tale land. As it turned out, the finger prints were just there because Regina stole MM’s box, but I think Annika’s theory was a better idea;-).
On the family friendly front, I have to say yes and no. Certainly it’s great for older kids, but I think it would be too scary/complex for most kids Annika’s age. She has always grasped things like this remarkably well. My 7 to son, Charlie, would likely be frightened by the show, and would not have the patience to pick through the complexities.
I have many podcasts to listen to to catch up (just finished with “The Price of Gold”) and I’ll pop in with my own ideas once I’m caught up.
Thanks for the welcomes!
Stacey

ParticipantHi Stacey! Almost 40 year old mom with a 10 year old son who watches the show with me waving hello to you here! Glad you joined us. You will have a ton of fun theorizing here – it’s a great group, but highly addictive! Welcome!

ParticipantGlad to be here! I’m close to finishing podcast episode 9. I still have a lot to go, but I’m getting there! I’m realizing that I REALLY need to re-watch the TV episodes. I completely missed the hidden Minnies and Mickeys. My first and foremost obsession is Disney, so I should be ashamed of myself! 😳
