    Hello everyone,

I’m a 23 year old student of political science from Germany. I live near the town where Snow White allegedly lived and study in Marburg, where the Brothers Grimm lived for a while. So fairytales are all around me!!
Of course, I love the show – especially since they’re not only using fairytales, but also Greek mythology (which I am obsessed with :D) and other myths and lore.

Since my favourite story is Beauty and the Beast I naturally like Rumpel and Belle, but I also adore Charming and Snow.
Glad to be here and looking forward to posting 😉

Hi vroni, and welcome to the forums! 😀

Know that exciting feeling of being all surrounded by fairy tales, was born in Göttingen. I know Göttingen and Kassel are offering some events this year to celebrate the Brothers Grimm (Grimm Jahr 2013), are there events in Marburg as well?

    ¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

Awesome! Where do you live now?
Marburg does offer the Grimm-dich-Pfad, which is a path through town and there are several statues and stuff reminding people of some of their well-known fairytales. Also there is an elevator connecting the two parts of Marburg and there are pictures of the most important people having lived there on the outside of this elevator and this year they added the Brothers Grimm.

Living in the “most boring city in Germany” (so not true, but some say so), Hannover.
