I can’t remember which episode it was, but it involved Rumpelstiltskin taking both Snow Whites hair and Charmings hair creating love in a bottle. Now when this first came up, I said, Ohhhhhhh now I get why Emma is so important and how she can break the curse, because Emma is LOVE I was waiting for you guys to say that on your podcast of that episode, but all you guys brought up was that Snow’s and Charming’s love created the curse. And that is true, that would also explain why Emma could be the only one to stop the curse, The Love to create the curse is the same Love in Emma. Like the Blue Fairy said theirs Good Magic and Evil Magic and Love is the strongest of all magic. Love was lost in this town until Emma came and thats her Magic, Love.
Oh man, I was hoping Emma would see August’s (Pinocchio’s) wooden leg tonight. Somehow she has made herself blind to fiction so it is not going to be so easy to convince her.
Yes, it’s up to something really drastic happening for Emma to come out of denial. Watching last night’s episode I’ve come to realise it’s not so much the fact that people keep telling her that everyone is a fairy tale character, but that she’s their only hope. She doesn’t want to be responsible for everyone’s happiness, to have the burden to fight for so many people. She’s been trying to find her happiness ever since a kid, then she met Henry and tried to make him happy, too. As we’ve seen, she has enough trouble with those two tasks. Until she gets the courage, the strengh and the resolve to help everyone else, she’s not gonna believe.
From the promo for episode 21, it looks like Henry may play a pivotal role in helping his mother to believe by taking matters into his own hands. He says he trusts her and then falls to the floor. There has been some speculation that he eats a poisoned apple meant for Emma, fully believing that she has the power to save him with a mother's true-love-for-her-son kiss. She did manage to set Graham free from the curse so he remembered, so it's entirely possible.
"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy
Emma will have to see something concrete in order for her to finally believe. But that will be difficult considering that magic doesn’t really exist in our world. So, trying to convince Emma by showing her something magical is out of the question. 🙁
I really like the theory that maybe Henry does something drastic in order to get Ema to finally believe. I just hope it isn’t anything too drastic. 😥
