In this episode, Emma states in Archie’s office that Henry has only had the Storybook a little over a month. So, after asking myself how in the world he figured out that where he was living was the cursed place mentioned in the book, my next question is how did he figure out his mom was SW’s daughter, all within a month of Emma’s 28th birthday? I can convince myself he figured it out because he was growing up and everyone else was staying the same, because the book came to him at a very providential time, but how did he figure out his mom was the same Emma in the Storybook? There are lots of Emma’s in the world. And how did that book get to him at that particular time. Why not years sooner? Why not a month later? It is almost as if time triggers have been put in place to move things along in the story — back up, if you will, to find Emma, to break the curse, etc. As a result, I am coming to believe that the Storybook was planted somehow, someway before the curse, with the intent that it be taken to SB and at the right time be a trigger for events to happe;, which makes me lean toward the idea that Rumpel planted it himself or through someone as part of the future. It would also make sense as someone else said, that if Rumpel were behind the writing of the Storybook stories, he would leave himself out.

Good catch with them saying how long Henry had the book. That is a huge coincidence that Henry got it so close to Emma’s 28th birthday; that definitely had to be planned by whoever or whatever wrote the book. Henry must be extremely intelligent and insightful to figure out so much in such a short time.

Also, Henry showed the last paged and it had Emma as a baby in it. As for how he knew which of the millions of Emma’s out there, and that she was his mom, I’m unsure.
