So tonight we learned that Henry’s adoption was perfectly legal and that the Darling Bros had nothing to do with it (I own HappyEndings 40 cookies. đ )
Were you surprised at how legal it was?
Who was the family who almost had Henry?
How did Henry get from AZ to Boston?

The biggest surprise for me was that the Darling bros were trying to nab baby Henry, while I thought all along they’d be the ones transporting Henry to Boston. I thought the family that almost got baby Henry were the Darling bros themselves? Perhaps not. I’m confused.

I am really confused. How was this legal? They’ve never heard of SB but what–they didn’t send someone out to make sure it was all ok? This is NOT how adoption works, honestly. You are visited and watched and they come to your house!
I don’t think the family in Boston was the Darlings Bros. I think they only showed up when Regina was about to let Henry go.

So could Regina always leave when she wanted to? Â I’m confused at the whole adoption thing because Storeybrook wouldn’t have shown up on the internet.

I knew she could leave. A and E have hinted at it before. She wasn’t cursed so she could come and go as she wanted. How was this adoption agent NOT confused that he couldn’t even FIND SB?

I’m wondering if the adoption agency is all that it appears to be. Perhaps it is a front for something/someone else. *cough Sneaky Fairy*

It was far too easy for Regina to get baby Henry for it to not be something else….
I mean this was the episode we’ve waited 2.5 seasons for..and it was that easy?

I don’t think Blue had anything to do with the adoption. Â We know it was Rumple who wrote that into the curse via the conversation with EQ when he was jailed and again based on what Reggie said to Gold in his shop. Â The word FATE came up several times. Â I was happy to hear that. Â I’ve always said that it was the FATE OF THE CURSE that brought Henry to SB and thus Emma. Â It’s a magical curse. Â Magic begets magic and will draw everything magical into it. Â It was inevitable that Henry would end up with Reggie, just as it was inevitable that Henry would seek out Emma and draw her back. Â It was Fate, Fate of the Dark Curse that draws everything back to it.
K&H have also said that someone followed Bae through the vortex. Â Again, my theory has been that it was the shadow. Â Pan/Malcolm has always kept an eye on Rumple with the shadow. Â When Bae went through the vortex, the shadow followed.
When Bae first arrived at the Darlings and he said his name out loud, that’s when the shadow first starting coming to the Darlings. Â It followed him there, followed him again when he left NL and that’s how they kept track on Bae/Neal all these years. Â That’s also how they knew about Emma and Henry.
It seemed to me that either John or Michael were going to be the recipient of the baby. Â As brothers, it certainly would make sense that the adoption agent would say another “family”.
