Can we just talk about how messed up Henry’s family is?
First off they have abandonment issues because Henry’s great great grandfather abandoned his son Malcolm, Malcolm raised his son Rumple by himself because his lover the Black Fairy left them, Malcolm then abandoned Rumple to become Peter Pan, Rumple’s wife Milah left him to be with Killian so he had to raise their child Bae/Neal by himself, then Rumple abandoned Bae/Neal because he was afraid of losing his dark magic, Bae/Neal abandoned his unbeknownst to him pregnant girlfriend, then Rumple’s second wife Belle sent their son away with the Blue Fairy which resulted him being kidnapped by Rumple’s evil mother the Black Fairy.
Speaking of which they also have kidnapping issues; Rumple takes babies as part of his deals, the Black Fairy kidnaps babies for fun & for her evil purposes (One of whom was her grandson.) And Pan kidnaps boys that feel unloved (Which includes his great grandson Henry whom whose heart he was attempted to use to continue being young.)
There’s 2 more things; Rumple has killed at least 20 people and Pan has a killed at least one person. Now Henry’s uncle wants to kill his mom.
So in short Henry’s family members are a bunch of abandoning, murdering, kidnapping, and psychopathic people who don’t care about each other and to think those people are only from his dad’s side of the family. I’m not sure what’s worse his dad’s side of the family or his mom’s side.

There’s 2 more things; Rumple has killed at least 20 people and Pan has a killed at least one person. Now Henry’s uncle wants to kill his mom.It might interest you that a friend and I have been re-watching the show and specifically trying to count how many people get killed by each major character and with I believe 11 episodes yet to be re-watched Rumple is only up to 15 kills and 10 of them were in season 1!

My next question would be — which of Henry’s moms, Emma or Regina? If we’re going with Regina, then yeah, she was the Evil Queen. She has killed many people. So have Cora and Zelena, the Queen of Hearts and Wicked Witch, respectively.
But Emma and her parents? I think Emma has killed only Cruella, and it was in defense of Henry, and it’s her job as the town sheriff to save people. Snow and Charming? Snow killed Cora, but again it was in defense of her family since Cora wanted to kill them all besides Henry. Charming may have killed people in battle to stop King George and the Evil Queen. That’s about it I think though.
I agree that the entire family tree is messed up though, and in real life, there’s no way Cora, Zelena, Hook, Rumple, Regina, or any of the other mass-murderers would walk free. They’d be behind bars for life (or worse, dead).

Snow and Charming? Snow killed Cora, but again it was in defense of her family since Cora wanted to kill them all besides Henry. Charming may have killed people in battle to stop King George and the Evil Queen. That’s about it I think though.
Well, aside from killing Cruella, Emma could be cited as an accomplice to murder, considering she covered up the fact Hook killed Merlin. And Snow and Charming are kidnappers who are not only responsible for an infant being sent to another realm, but containing all the darkness that should have rightfully been their own child’s. Regina, Zelena, Cora, Rumple, Peter Pan, Hook, and more than likely Black Fairy’s list of sins are too long to really go down, ranging from murder, kidnapping, rape, and so on.

They’d be behind bars for life (or worse, dead).I guess that would leave Belle to raise Henry, Baby Snowflake, & Baby Robyn because all the good side is dead and all the bad side is locked up. Belle is the only one living with a clean slate, I think.

There’s more straight up murder on Regina’s side but there’s also a nasty hypocritical/false heroism streak running through the Charmings, at least in the past few seasons. Since S4 they’ve:
–stolen Mal’s baby and sent it to another world
–almost burned Isaac alive while he was still living inside the Book (and only stopped, not because that would be cruel and wrong, but because Regina might no get her happy ending otherwise)
–and in the spring premiere, Charming told Belle in no uncertain terms that she had one chance to save Gideon with an implied “or else.”
And that’s just what I can think of right now.
