Henry’s plan is to manipulate Rumple into learning about the book and how he and Regina might learn who wrote it. What do you think of this plan? What might Henry learn?

They writers are destroying Henry/Rumple relationship or the potential for one. We have Henry manipulating his grandfather, pretending to be interested in learning more about his dead father, just so he can weasel information out of Rumple for his mother about the book’s author. I fear what’s going to happen to both of them when the truth comes out. I just abhor this storyline.

It’s not even genuine interest in Neal or Rumple. It’s manipulation in the name of Neal. It’s horrible.

I can only hope that Henry’s innocence the character usually has (at least until this moment) comes back as quickly as possible and Rumple isn’t too hurt by the manipulation. I hope Henry is honest about his intentions to learn about the book’s author as well as leave this apprenticeship closer to Grandpa Rumps.

I just love the fact that Henry is finally working with Regina, and that the two of them are doing something together! But…I hope Henry eventually will genuinely love working with Grandpa Rumple….and let’s face it folks…manipulation is in Henry’s blood as well as his name (cough) Grandma Cora (cough). Just look at how he did Regina in Season 2…

And even if they don’t do it perfectly (they won’t), they’ll HAVE to let Henry and Rumple interact. They MIGHT even let Belle talk to him, if she’s ever on for more than 2 seconds again.

Except he hasn’t onced voiced wanting to know more about Neal since he got his memories back and now he’s only bringing up Neal–the first time all season–in order to use Rumple.
