I think that he might want his powers back to help him find Bae. After he finds Bae he might not care about loosing them. I do think that he wants Emma to believe so that he can look for Bae though. He does have a lot of power in Storybrooke and cares about having that and while it isn’t magical it is still power. I don’t think he actually cares about Emma more then what she can do for him though.

April 27, 2012 at 9:47 pm #144332SnickerdoodleParticipantSo that means Regina orchestrated the whole thing — car break down so David would help, interjection of melted ice cream so David would take her home, fake not already in place so David would stay for dinner — Regina, such a cunning witch; David — clueless and naive.

Wow. The Pinocchio story actually looks pretty interesting. If the writers play their cards right, it can turn into a brilliant story.
+1 to that 😉
Loved the MM promo!!!!- Finally she’s standing up for herself & becoming more SW like….felt sorry for Regina (at least in this scene lol) as she seemed to be shocked, not by the fact that MM stood her ground, but by what she said about Regina’s motives for doing it.
David/Regina promo – Im still patiently waiting for David to grow a clue re Regina- just wanted to reach into the screen & shake him when he paused on the way out & changed his mind about staying for dinner- I know its the curse & he thinks its all innocent, but Seriously, is he really THAT thick???? argh! & Regina, well obviously because MM tells you she forgives you & doesn’t hold a grudge, you just Have to try seduce her true love/hubby- talk about not thinking things through much – how the oats did she get known as EQ in FTL, when every plan to take down MM/SW & PC has failed in SB as well???? Im honestly starting to think Regina has gone soft & is loosing her evil edge in SB lol

I would like to see Pinnochio become a kick a$$ character, a character that is a hero. The puppet turned boy should be a shinning example of the qualities that make a person a person and not a toy.

The scene between MM and Regina actually made me have more sympathy for Regina rather than Mary Maragert. However, I’m not sure if that was the writers intention.
Right? I mean, I LOVED the scene. Just so great seeing MM standing up to Regina. At the same time I thought, wow, she’s a b**** … Seriously, MM/Snow can be really mean. Seeing what Regina did to her, I understand, but still …

She sees that Regina isn’t pure evil(but hey, there aren’t any pure evil characters on this show anyway), she understands that Regina is lonely, and that’s what’s behind the evil things she does.
Yeah, MM forgiving Regina truly shows her pure a big heart, but at the same time it’s quite the mocking gesture. Just like that story in the bible with showing your other cheeks after being slapped on the other (sorry, my biblical knowledge is limited, hope you know what I mean, lol).
Anyway, Snow/MM’s my favorite character, so I loved the scene, but as Regina’s comes at 2nd or 3rd place, I can’t but feel a bit sorry for her, too. Oh, and Regina’s face when MM says “He’s with his mother.” is priceless …

I second that. I don’t really like Pinocchio, but it does look good. I was especially surprised by the special effects! They look really good for a tv show!
About the David&Regina scene: Well, no comment. Really. 🙄
April 28, 2012 at 11:19 am #144423hjbauParticipantYou thought Mary was mean in that scene? I didn’t. She said that she was insinuating something, but she even forgave her and said she wished she could find happiness instead of hurting everyone. It seems harsh in light of what happened to Regina, but Mary doesn’t really know any of that. I don’t know.
April 28, 2012 at 11:36 am #144425miaParticipantWell, I know MM meant it in a good way, she’s just that kind of really good person. It’s just that saying something like that can be taken the wrong way. Regina will take it the bad way.
If you dislike someone – in this case it’s even hatred – and that someone forgives you for doing something evil to them, then it just fuels the dislike/hatred. It really depends on how a person interprets this kind of action. MM should realise that if Regina did something evil, forgiving her is not the wisest way to act with that person. I do realise that MM doesn’t know how evil Regina truly is, but still. I just see it both ways, the noble and the foolish/mocking one, even though I know MM doesn’t mean it in the mocking way.April 28, 2012 at 11:41 am #144427hjbauParticipantI do agree that it is pretty inappropriate to tell someone you forgive them like that to their face because it is just saying that you think they did the wrong thing and need to be forgiven. But i think that Mary was saying that.
April 28, 2012 at 11:47 am #144430miaParticipantHm. It does come off a bit high and mighty, snobbish in a way … I better stop thinking about it or I’ll end up not liking this scene and I do actually really like it. 😉
