Only the people who are cursed cannot leave SB.
Only since Emma has arrived have SB characters started to notice things are changing and going on.
Perhaps the writers have already hinted how the curse will be broken.
Emma has yet to believe Henry at all about the curse. Emma will start to suspect that something is up in SB, but not necessarily that fairy tales are real.
“They explained to us what breaks the curse – which I’m so not going to tell anybody – but once they told me, I kind of felt like a dumb-dumb because it makes perfect sense,” Gennifer Goodwin said.
On how the curse will (not) be broken:

“So it is going to be a matter of Emma opening a kissing booth.”
“Well, yes. That’s next Miners Day festival will be a kissing booth with Emma. If the finale is entitled kissing booth, then …”Regina’s love for Henry is very real, and she hates Emma for the threat she poses of taking Henry.
The more Regina tries to get Henry to love her, the more Henry pulls away. The relationship will be explored more this season.As long as the curse continues, no one has their happy endings. Mary Margaret and David are not going to find theirs right away, because of the curse.
Dr. Archie Hopper will work with more patients other than just Henry: David and Mr. Gold. Archie has job security because he cannot reveal any secrets. In FTL, Jiminy Cricket will lead an intervention, but it has yet to be revealed which character it’s for.
David has serious problems, because he was in a comma for 28 years, wakes up, has has to deal with his failing marriage to Kathryn and his inexplicable attraction to Mary Margaret. He doesn’t understand.
Mr. Gold is a can of worms. He doesn’t have anyone else to talk to besides Dr. Archie Hopper. Also, Mr. Gold likes the fact that Archie is bound by professional restraints not to reveal anything.
There will be more direct and frank talk between Mr. Gold and Regina. They will be speaking out in the open from here on. What will be their agendas?
What is August’s agenda? Before the finale, we will find out who he is, what he is doing, what he wants to do, and how he will go about it. It doesn’t seem like he is Henry grown up, based on the surprise of the writers to the question. There are a lot of theories out there, and someone has got it right.
Henry’s father will be revealed later down the road.
What did Snow White do to upset the Evil Queen so much? The audience will find out this season. It is not black and white. It adds a richness to their relationship. They will explore this more in coming seasons, too.
We will find out soon how Snow White remembers who Prince Charming is after drinking a magic potion. To drink a potion and forget who you love comes at a price, as Rumple has reminded us. “All magic comes with a price.” That is also related to why Snow White and Regina don’t like each other.
Most of fairy tale land is actually a green stage with CGI added features. It causes the actors to revert to their childhood imaginations. The actors can check the scene they’ve just shot on a monitor that reveals the special effects to find out what it looks like.
There will be a season two to look forward to next fall. We will see Princess Ariel/Little Mermaid and potentially other Disney princesses in season two. Lana (Evil Queen) wants to be Ursula, while Gennifer (Snow White) doesn’t want to be the mermaid and shoot in water. There are a lot of characters the producers have yet to get to.
The audience will soon see the Evil Queen’s mother. The relationship between the two is pretty bad, although they manage to have one “Beaches” moment.
Pinocho is the meter dispenser in front of Granny’s in SB. Joke.
We may see Graham/Huntsman again, because he is still alive in FTL!
Emma is dealing with a lot this season. Having Henry in her life and having a friend causes her to open up and experience a lot of new feelings. Her wardrobe will change as she develops and changes to reflect her interior. The tough leather is a cover for her inner vulnerability.
It takes two hours to put on Rumple’s makeup and and hour to take off. He takes 20 minutes to put on his leggings.
David and Prince Charming are the same character, but have to work through different experiences. Mary Margaret, who is more reserved, is the person Snow White might have been if everything had gone wrong and if she’d been repressed her whole life.
The creators of OUAT didn’t just want to retell well-known fairy tales. They purposefully opened the pilot episode after the happy ending to reveal a new story. They also want to answer questions like, “Why is Grumpy is grumpy?” and “Why does the EQ hate Snow White?”.
No one was aging in SB except Henry until Emma arrived and time started to pass again.
Josh Dallas (Prince Charming) is the tonic to Justin Bieber. 😀
We will most likely see Maleficent again. It would be disappointing not to.

What makes it awesome is (I can’t remember if it was said on here on Jeff & Colleen’s podcast) that maybe Emma should just go around kissing the boys, while Henry kisses the girls. 😆

I so wish they would incorporate the Justin Bieber thing into the show somehow. I can’t remember if there is ever music playing in the background at Granny’s but maybe the next time they film a scene at Granny’s, have a Justin Bieber song playing in the background when David walks in. 😆

He was talking about commedia dell’arte or Italian comedy.
Hee, hee. I know. Most of the time, I think Robert’s accent is sexy as all get out. Other times I will listen to him answer a question and be like “What the heck did he just say??” 😕 But, I’m sure if you are around him long enough you get used to it. I will happily volunteer to spend time with him so I can translate for everyone. 😉

and oh yeah, I looked up Robert’s bio on Wikipedia and it was his middle son, he was the inspiration for the voice of Rumpelstiltskin.
