It was mentioned somewhere that she isn’t on the ‘good’ side or the ‘bad’ side, but she believes in what is ‘right’, which may be either bad or good.
Blue Fairy= true puppet master, I love this theory šŸ˜†

    Indeed…

Baelfire: How do I know I can trust you?

Blue Fairy: Because there is good magic and dark magic, and I’m on the right side.

“Right” can be a very subjective term, just sayin’.

Again, K&H have made it quite clear that Blue is good and fights for what is right. I know many don’t see her that way. I myself, find her to have a wee bit of a snotty attitude. However, if the show creators say she is good than that’s pretty much that.

Only way I could see something like that happening is if Cora impersonated Blue or if Cora was able to take her heart.

Good and bad aren’t exactly black or white on this show though. If you’re classifying all the characters into good guys and bad guys, then I’d certainly put Blue in the good guy camp. But I don’t think that excludes the possibilty that she hasn’t been 100% honest with everyone all the time. Even if I think she’s had some dodgy actions, I believe that those actions were done because she has the long term greater good in mind.

Exactly , the term ‘right’ can stir up a lot of debate. I too agree that the Blue Fairy’s intentions are mostly ‘good’, even though it may not exactly be good for everyone.
Just an example, when she gave Bae the bean which allowed him to leave to another world, that was good for Bae, however the separation between him and Rumple, bad. And when she lied to Snow and Charming about the wardrobe; good for Pinocchio and Gepetto, bad for baby Emma šŸ˜†
Blue isn’t bad, but I believe that she has to do what is (or should) be right šŸ™‚

Perhaps Blue Fairy is the one that betrays the Charmings but in the long run it is for the greater good or she believes it is. For example, Snow and Charming’s decisions can’t be 100% right every single time. Their emotions are going to cloud their judgements at some point.

Maybe Blue Fairy “betrays” the Charmings in the way that their actions are led by their emotional involvement in a situation and Blue Fairy, as an unattached observer, can see that everything would go wrong. She takes counter steps against the Charmings in order to ensure the Charmings stay safe.

All magic comes with a price!
