Hook chose to stay in the Underworld when the Orpheus and Eurydice-plan went bust. Do you think he’ll actually stay dead/down in the Underworld? If not, how else can the heroes get him back?
The Underworld has a better chance of becoming sunshine and daisies before Hook is gone for good.

Yeah, I don’t see any way that Hook is truly gone for good. I am a bit interested to see how they revive him since that plan and Emma’s (rather ridiculous) one also failed though.

Yeah…no. We still have three more episodes before the end of the Season. I also think if this were Hook’s legit final farewell, it would have gotten a lot more attention. This would have been an entire CS episode, and the flashback would have involved Hook in some way.
If Hades dies, do all the souls get released–the ones that haven’t moved on? Including Hook?

I doubt it. Hades was keeping them from moving on, and now that he isn’t they CAN move on as they naturally should…but the thing is they have to know what their unfinished business is, hence Henry’s help. So I don’t think Hades being dead will automatically make the underworld a pointless, empty place. The people there will just be ABLE to move on. Not automatically move on. So I think Hook can choose to stay in the underworld or move on, regardless of Hades being dead.

I sincerely hope so. Bringing him back after Firebird will be the stupidest thing they’ve ever done. But there are rumours that he was filming for the finale so….maybe 22/23 will take place in an alternate universe/fantasy where Hook still exists? The finales of seasons 3 and 4 did that. It would be a good way to bring him back but not bring him back and keep fans confused about his ultimate fate – at least until the end of season 5.
Yeah there’s just no way he’s gone. But as others have said, I’m more intrigued to see how he comes back now. Hades dying should have no affect on Hook coming back.

It shouldn’t but…..I can see the writers going there.

That would be so annoying though, especially since by the end of this episode they made it very clear that Hades simply made it nearly impossible for people to leave. He liked the power he had on everyone. But it would seem that he has no power regarding people actually moving on. They either go down or up. He was simply a hindrance and now that he’s no longer in the UW, it will make things easier for everyone. But him dying, should not affect them based on what they have told us so far. It would really retcon what they established in this episode I think.
