He has a small soft spot for Emma and I would love to see this grow. I agree with Maiqu20, maybe it was his intention to give Emma a head start back to storybrook. He knew he had the bean so Cora wouldn’t rip him apart, but he may have wanted to help Emma without making it obvious 😆

I agree. I loved that part! I think he definitely has a soft spot for her. I hope they do grow it because if so, season three is going to be H.O.T!

Yes, it may have been his way of making up for having taken Milah away from Bae. He’s seen how badly that situation can end, and he doesn’t want the same fate for Emma. I think he respects her a fair bit.
He knows what that is like so he wants to make it better if he can. He does she has bested him basically 3 times now he has a lot of respect for her

There was nothing clean about that scene heheheh.. Like I said he was more interested in flirting with her than beating her… Ohh the sword sex was perfection
I think they are building up to it.. All their moments and the little details and the parallels aren’t for nothing especially on this show..
I think he was messing with her until she showed him the compass. Then he was like “oh sh!t This ain’t no game!” And he really did try but shortly after that she knocked him out cold so… yeah.
