Sadly, people are defensive of their opinions, and they can defend them a bi agressively. 🙂 But this whole site is meant for everyone to come in a discuss their theories and opinions.
I do agree that before Emma can start anything, she needs to be with her family, and especially get to know her father. 🙂 All she really has of him were his actions from last season, and that is poor representation since he was curse. I’ve been waiting for them to spend time together for so long!
She also does need to open. She may have allowed her walls to go down a bit, but she still keeps them high up.
I think she feels a connection to him, just not sure where it will go.
Yeah sometimes fans can get a bit…aggressive (or cuckoo for cocoa puffs) I’d use a stronger word but you can’t use profanity here (which is really hard btw) exactly there should be freedom of ideas even if it’s as crazy as Snow White is the easter bunny
I know!! Because as much as I looove Snow/Emma I feel from what we have seen of Charming…Emma has A LOT more similarities with him so I feel like once they get that going it’s going to be a fantastic relationship! (I hope he stays on as deputy) and I want Overprotective!papa!charming!!!
Exactly! Quoting Snow “That wall of your may keep out pain but it also may keep out love” the walls need to go down a little more so she can trust more people and have actual friends and enjoy her family…I’m sorry i get overwhelmed by Charming family feels
I think she’s not sure either we now she feels the connection (scenes in the beanstalk, the jail scene etc) but she has no idea what to do with it or what it means which is part of what makes it so wonderful
Btw they won’t kill of Hook I don’t know why it’s been talked about so much but they won’t do it, he creators LOVE him (just listen to the podcast) the media loves him, the fans love him etc and there’s a lot to be told there (especially if they go with my headcanon that Hook is really a grown up Peter Pan)

In ABC’s forums page (in one of the comments, can’t remember which one but it had to do with Hook), somebody posted a response saying the creators already decided to kill Hook off by the end of season 2. This person may or may not have known what he was talking about. Since so many people are mad at OUAT for killing off too many characters (mostly cute guys), this was just gas poured on an open flame

For all the spoilers that are released, there are still twists that are kept secret. For example, we knew nothing about August’s involvement in Tallahassee, other than that Eion was in the official cast list for the ep, and everyone assumed we’d see him in present day SB, (how wrong were we). It was a major plot point, so they kept it under wraps. The same would apply for a major plot point like Hook’s impending death. It simply wouldn’t get leaked like that, so I wouldn’t put any credibility in a random forum post by an anoymous user.

Yeah I don’t see why they would want to just kill him off there’s so much the can still do with Hook and he’s just gonna be a series regular

I agree!
December 16, 2012 at 11:17 pm #165218AtlanticaDreamParticipanti definitely love the theory, that Hook wanted to help Emma without helping her. I love the idea of Emma and Hook together. I know he basically insulted her by comparing her to the bean, but at the end of the episode we see that the bean gets rejuvinated by the waters of Lake Nostos. Emma also goes through these waters. Maybe this foreshadows that she will be able to trust again, maybe Hook?

Me, too! 😀
Besides, I want to see how he’s going to react, when he finds out the real reason why he got left on that beanstalk. If he is the kind of guy he was telling her he is in FTL, he’ll probably feel (or, at least should feel) like a real jerk after what he did in that cave.
