    Thanks for the link!

Of course. After all, it is my duty to impart any Colin-related knowledge, science, or no science πŸ˜€

I have noticed too, when looking back at some of my past celebrity crushes, some of them had beards at one point and I still thought that they were hot. (Ewan McGregor, as Obi-Wan especially in the last two movies, he was still hot despite the beard. I even remember focusing on it when writing fanfiction πŸ˜† ) . I even thought Qui-Gon was hot πŸ˜†

Haha! Yeah, I have noticed some people change in hotness with facial hair…I thought Conan O’Brien looked awesome with his beard.

but interesting study. so now, we know two scientifically proven facts that relate to Colin: he is proven hotter when he plays a guitar and his beard makes him very hot. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Yeah, the only flaw in the study is that they only tested 10 men with facial hair. They should have a bigger pool to select from to make it reliable, but it is something nonetheless.
Eion Bailey is someone who looks amazing with the facial hair…I am quite sad that he is not on the show now…I wonder if August can ever come back. It doesn’t seem likely.

I wonder what’s specifically the appeal of guitars for women. To me, I think it represents a certain sensitivity, talent, passion, and conviction. I have a thing for guys with guitars like the women in the study…so having facial hair and a guitar will be the death of me…I just know it.

Don’t you just love science? πŸ˜† πŸ˜† And it was my hardest subject when I was in high school. πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Not everyone’s cup of tea, for sure. I actually do love it…*shyly raises hand* 😳 I It’s my favorite subject! Though, not too keen on organic chemistry…I stick more to the biology side of science.

I was always awful in science (it was my one bad subject) and yet I love sci-fi stuff. Go figure!

As for the studies that is certainly interesting! Yay for more things backing us up. πŸ™‚

As for the guitar…I think it’s something about it being cradled in their arms. They’re very protective of their guitars and while they are technically strong enough to damage it they instead choose to make beautiful music with it and keep it very close to them. It’s like seeing a big strong guy with a very small child in their arms being protective and gentle instead of accidentally crushing it. It’s just….cute!

It also works on a talent level as well. I totally agree with the “sensitivity, talent, passion, and convinction” part!

I think the rest is just that we wish we could be held that close!

Nice, Kat, nice. That is a very cool perspective on the sex appeal of guys with guitars. It is definitely cute!

Colin was so many different kinds of awesome in the season finale. I’ve only watched it once, and need a rewatch to fully process it all, but just had to say right now that it was brilliant how he played Hook’s conflicting thoughts and emotions when it came to the son of Milah and Rumple. A seriously stellar performance!

I still can’t believe he got up at 4 am to live-tweet the west coast airing! That’s dedication!

He was a lot of fun on twitter last night and you could tell he was excited about the episode (as he should be!) Hook was amazing in the finale. SO MUCH EMOTION!

I tried to jot down a few things on rewatch and ended up rewatching certain scenes over and over again to pay attention to the wording and then the facial expressions and he nailed it every time.

So many feelings from the ep but was so happy to see Hook finally get some backstory and some layers. Colin was amazing!

Agreed! He was fantastic, and the dedication to tweeting! Wow. Go Colin.

Can’t wait to see him next season! I vote that he be in every episode… πŸ˜€

Colin O’Donoghue, our selfish-not-so-much Captain Hook, will attend the 53rd Monte-Carlo Internation Television Festival that will take place from June 9 through June 13. [onceuponafan]
