Oh man, I hope they’ll let fans visit the movie set because if I see anything on the net saying it’s okay to be there, then this here lil’ girl’s gonna boogie up to Nashville!

Hi, all … I’m an avid follower of this site but have never participated in the forums.
Short story: Colin is my 11yo’s first celebrity crush. I live 20 minutes outside of N’ville. It HAS been confirmed that filming is happening here. B/c it’s a small indie film, info is difficult to come by. I’ve sent a facebook msg to the director (Ryan Lacen) asking if there would be any opportunity to watch filming. Figured the worst that could happen would be that he ignores me. I’ve put the word out to my friends who work downtown to let me know if they hear anything.
Given the plot, one would think that filming in one of the honky tonks on Broadway would make sense. N’ville is crazy right now, because tonight are the CMA awards & the entire weekend is filled with concerts for fans. But, again, it presents a wonderful backdrop for this film!
So, I’ll post if I learn anything & ask that you do the same! Sarah … Come on up! The things we do for our children. How awesome would it be for my daughter to meet her crush?
A fan already got a pic of him on the plane, so maybe some Nashville fans will be happy to post pics of filming as they happen. Poor Colin can’t hide anywhere 🙂

How I remember the days of kid crushes. My daughter’s (and every other girl in the world) was Justin Timberlake! At 12 she finally met him after working three concerts passing out flyers at the stadium entrance (under Mom’s watchful eyes five feet away) She hasn’t gotten over it yet and calls him *My Alternate Universe Husband* to this day.
I have friends in Nashville on the outskirts of the music industry and I will most certainly pass on any info that might fall into their lap concerning shooting.
I hope your little one gets a gigantic thrill!

I hope I get to meet him, and I am close. I’m just two hours away from Nashville. That said, I won’t be going up there unless I hear news that it’s okay for fans to visit the movie set. Meeting Colin would be a dream come true, but nobody’s going to catch me holding onto a fence with my tounge hanging out.
