Despite all my misgivings about Hook, I don’t want to believe that he lied to Bae about his father in order to learn of Rumple’s secret. To me, that was one of the few times I’ve seen “Killian” instead of Hook. I think he may have gone to Bae in order to learn about Rumple, but I think his intentions changed once Bae told Hook about what Rumple had done. Then pirate facade dropped and he was honest. But…I do admit that given the scene directly before that where Hook tells Smee that he can use Bae to learn about Rumple, I need to keep an open mind.

I’ve always been in two minds about whether or not he was telling the truth.  The story just seemed to be really convenient to get the info out of Bae. I also like the idea that perhaps it could be what he believes to be the truth, but he doesn’t have all the facts. Hopefully his centric ep will clear it up.

Agreed on both accounts. The thing is, every single backstory in this show has been told in flashbacks and Hook’s… wasn’t. I can’t help, then, but to think Hook wasn’t being truthful to Bae in that moment. Hopefully Good Form will clear it out.

I like the idea that Hook became a pirate because he was adopted as a child by a pirate.

I think we’ll find out what Hook did to Rufio through Henry. Since Henry is

going to start getting friendly wit PP and the Lost boys

He’d probably ask questions and one of the Lost boys may tell him about Rufio.

I know they can’t tell Rufio’s story because of legal issues, so for now I’m going to assume that’s Felix’s surname.
