Thankfully Belle has a very close-knit support group growing which could come to her aid if needed.
Since Hook does know about Belle then his best course of action would be to take away Rumple’s true love the way Rumple took away his. As for knowing about the dagger he did ask Belle that she had to have known a way of killing the Dark One. However he made no mention as to how.
Rumple has been the Dark One for a long while now and it is possible that some his killings could have been those who knew of the story to prevent it being told orally as well as written down. I would not be surprised if he went to great lengths to destroy all artifacts about The Dark One so that the only ones who would know the truth would be those who had been alive from that time (Blue Fairy, Hook and his crew, August, and Bae. Any others I am missing?).
[adrotate group="5"]Wait. We know Hook knew about Belle. But I don’t think he knew about Rumple caring about her…otherwise he would have used her to more painfully torture Rumple. So he didn’t know about their relationship..

^I agree. If Hook was aware of Belle and Rumpel’s relationship, he would have kept her around so that he could use her as a pawn. But that’s why I’m glad Belle and Hook met back in the Enchanted Forest. Now Belle is aware of his intentions, so she won’t be vulnerable to his manilpulation.

I’m happy about that too.
He only seemed to know that she made the deal with Rumpelstiltskin and was his caretaker, and that she sacrificed her freedom for her father, family, friends, and village. 🙂 He didn’t know that she loved him–probably why he was surprised when she defended Rumpelstiltskin and refused to help him.
But he never saw Rumpelstiltskin with Belle, so he probably thought she did not mean much to him.
He may target Belle for a bit, but I do feel that he would rather attack Rumpelstiltskin–his whole scheme was to kill him. He called Rumpelstiltskin a demon. He lost his hand and Milah to this man.
Still, Belle is not off the hook (I couldn’t resist 🙂 ). Captain Hook will take enjoyment in ruining their romance. I think the worst thing he could do (so far) would be to tell Belle about Milah.

Recent spoilers have revealed that Hook will be targetting Belle.
Once Upon a Time | You may think that once he drops anchor in Storybrooke, Hook might not have any friends in town. But think again. Remember, the henchman Belle’s florist father hired was no less than Smee (played by Eureka‘s Christopher Gauthier), who is due to return after the holiday hiatus. “Smee will definitely play a part in Hook’s plans,” Colin O’Donoghue assured me. Speaking of the sidekick’s previous target, could Belle land in Hook’s hooks, as a way of getting back at his mortal foe Rumplestiltskin? “Belle is such a huge part of Rumple’s life…,” O’Donoghue agreed. “She might figure into the equation.”
