So I was wondering if anyone had theories as to how Hook returned to the Enchanted Forest from Neverland. I am clueless but this point is eating at me. He got there with a bean and was determined to not return until he found a way to skin his croc. Did he learn about the dagger in Neverland? Did Tink or Peter know something? I kinda think Peter is Bae (and Neal). Maybe Peter/Bae told Hook about the weapon when he found out that his mother was killed by his father and that his father lied about where she had gone.

He said it himself, that he travels and hears much, plus he spent an unknown amount of time working with Rumple so who knows what Jefferson picked up.

Maybe he knew exactly who to ask..and remember Rumple thought she was dead so he never looked for her

Yes, I’m on the Bae=Peter train, so it’d fit for me if that’s how Hook discovered that there was a weapon that could kill Rumple. In the scene with Belle, he didn’t seem to know exactly what that weapon was, but he could have had some altercation with Bae in Neverland where the kid accidentally let it slip that the Dark One could be killed, but then refused to give more info, so Hook set off to find it himself.

I like the idea that Captain Hook learned about the dark one’s knife from Peter Pan/Baelfire, but I hope it was done stealthily on Hook’s part so that Peter/Bae didn’t realize with whom he shared his father’s secret. Despite how corrupted Rumple let go his son, I don’t think Bae would knowingly betray his father like that since Baelfire is too good a character. Maybe Bae entrusted that secret to Tinker Bell, whom Captain Hook then tricked into giving the secret (like Hook convinced Tinker Bell to reveal the location of Peter’s hideout).

You know I’m not the biggest fan of the Bae=Peter Pan theory because I just want him to be himself, and Bae’s personality didn’t feel he had any of Peter Pan’s traits to me as a boy because he was so serious and mature.
However, it’s looking more likely now, I believe. We now know that Hook learned about the Dagger to kill Rumple from someone other than Cora, which was the popular theory before “Queen of Hearts”.
We also know that the bean can bring someone to the present day Earth world, so there’s something going on with why Bae time traveled to our world. It’s either because the Blue Fairy or some other powerful entity wanted Bae to end up in the current day world to meet up with Emma, or he went to some other world(s) first that kept him from aging, or option number 3, the bean knew that it would take Rumple hundreds of years to get to a land without magic and then someday really choose Bae over his power and that’s why Bae time traveled instead of landing several hundred years ago in our world or option number 4, the writers never explain it they just wanted him to land in the future to meet up with Emma.
I’m just not totally sure about option number 2 because Colin O’Donoghue had that quote about he has yet to film any Neverland scenes, and he hasn’t even been told if they are definitely introducing Peter, though he’s hoping OUAT decides to. I would think if Neal is Bae and also Peter Pan that it would be a pretty major story line for the second half of the season, and they would have informed MRJ and Colin O’Donoghue that it was going to occur. It does seem to becoming more likely though.

I think that Bae might have told Hook about the dagger, or that there was a weapon that could kill Rumple when he learned that Rumple had killed his mother. I still think Bae could be Neil. Maybe Neverland is a sort of crossover zone between enchanted forest and our world when you use the magic bean as a portal. This could explain why Neal is Bae, if he was in Neverland first then it could explain why he is not older than he looks.

Yes but Bae went to a land without magic…Neverland has magic (that’s my main prob with that theory)
