2. maybe he somehow hooked a ride with a flying monkey–maybe flying monkeys can make portals/pass worlds and he followed one through??? I am curious to see how this is explained.
Like the shadow? Did he come with Walsh?
Yes, that’s what I am thinking. Maybe monkeys can pass through worlds similar to the shadow—also how did Walsh know that Hook had a potion to give Emma? maybe Hook somehow was able to follow Walsh or another monkey to our world–for a crack theory–maybe Neal didn’t get Emma because he is a flying monkey and he took Hook

They are for sure strong enough. Walsh lifted Regina off the ground. It’s a good thought.

Yes, I can see it now–Monkey Neal gives Hook a ride to SB —and is in hiding among the treetops and building tops in SB—if this turns our to be true I will laugh so hard

Well that depends. What is Walsh’s original state? Is he a monkey turned into a man…or a man turned into a monkey?
Also, how did Walsh even know that Hook had a potion? Was he flying over head listening?

Hook: There wasn’t anything for me in the Enchanted Forest. Why would I stay? All was well…until I got a message, a message saying that there was a new curse and that everyone had been returned to Storybrooke. The message told me that the only hope was you.
So going by the dialogue (taken from closed captioning) Hook wasn’t with the others when they came back to Storybrooke. So he had to come to our world by another means. He needed a portal of some kind. So counting off what we know as portals he could have come by:
- curse
- bean
- mermaid
- flying monkey
- shadow
So….how did the pirate get to our world. He had to be working with someone for the potion and the portal.

I’ve gotta re-watch it, but on first watch, the scene with Zelena, it seemed the Monkey was expecting some sort of payment, which could have maybe been the ability to switch between monkey/human form? If so, that could make Walsh a unique case?

So was he just in another part of FTL that remained unaffected by the new Curse? Or did he somehow hop to another world entirely, and that’s where he got the message?
1) Where did he get the potion
Hook told Emma he only had enough potion for one person because “alas I could only scavenge enough together for one memory potion.” Possibly, Hook nicked the potion off of Zelena or found it among her possessions or at Rumple’s dark castle. He problaby only had enough time to get one dose instead of two, hence why he only had enough for Emma and not Henry.

koffeegirl could be right that Hook hitched up a flying monkey to his sail to cross realms and it could be that Rumple did send Hook, but only because everyone else had already been sent back to Storybrook under the new curse and he for whatever reason couldn’t go himself. Sure it could have been Blue Fairy that made the memory potion for Emma, but Rumple is better for the story. For any story.
