My guess is that the cauldron is essentially their version of Skype, and they were communicating from different locations
I LOL’D. But okay, assuming Mr. Merlin is still in Camelot….how and why does he suddenly have a home in SB that was clearly not there before? And on top of that, his hat is there. And the books. And the key to unlock the Author.

But another thing: all the realms were frozen for 28 years, even Cora’s bubble. How could The Apprentice have escaped the curse unless he was already brought to our world and, if that’s true, how did he have magic?
Well maybe he was living here for awhile to escape the curse and therefore wasn’t taken by it? And just didn’t age because he just so happened to have some dragon egg shell? As for the magic? The Dragon had magic in our land so there is a way….what way that is, I have no idea.
