How Did the Red Queen Learn Magic?

Raise your hand if you think the Red Queen learned magic from Cora?

The tracking spell she used seemed very familiar, like we’ve seen it on ONCE from either Regina or Cora (someone confirm or deny?)

We know Ana wasn’t always a Queen (she knows how to get her hands dirty) but how did she learn magic?

Theory: after she married the King (and then disposed of him) she and Cora teamed up to take over Wonderland together. When Cora left WL with Hook in 209 “QoH” she left the RQ with her half of the kingdom.

I agree except she deposed the King after she met Cora.  Then that only leaves the question of when Jafar enters the pictures.

you’re probably right. So tword wise:

1) runs off to WL with Will

2) agrees to marry the King

3) Meets Cora and beings learning magic

4) Big Test from Cora is taking the King’s heart and crushing it, just like Rumple tried to do with both Cora and Regina

5) RQ succeeds in killing King

6) RQ and Cora form alliance but then Cora leaves to deal with Regina

7) THEN Jafar enters.

hmmm Remember that chick who Regina ripped the heart out of? She and Amara look an awful lot alike.

some people felt that she looked like that chick from Notre Dame, but I felt she kinda sorta looked like Megara from Hercules. My theory is that she was working for Hades as part of the deal they made (to get her boyfriend to come back to her) but after it went sour, she turned to magic to try and defeat Hades and get out of her servitude to him. But then Regina ripped out her heart. But Hades is god of the dead, so he brought her back. And thus we have a storyline v.v Amara could be Megara? Or her sister? Idk where I was going with this >> my crack theory just took me away
