How did Zelena get the Dagger?

Zelena has the Dark One’s dagger and is using it to control Rumple! But how did she get it? And did she cut him on purpose to get his blood–like taking Regina’s? What could she want with Rumple?

its actually very simple. zeleena simply snatched the dagger once it was done stabbing pan and rumple.

she then said “i summon thee dark one from whatever realm thou art in.”

She then proceeded to practically wipe everyone’s memory of Rumple thus why we dont see David or Snow or Regina mourning him

I think Zelena steals the dagger from Belle and Neal in the EF during the missing year. In 3×12, Belle told Neal they never saw Rumple’s knife, which led her to conclude that Rumple must not have died. That makes me think Rumple was transported somewhere, and that Belle and Neal will go on a quest to get him back. Yet, Zelena will somehow intervene and gain control of the dagger, and therefore, of Rumple.

And did she cut him on purpose to get his blood–like taking Regina’s? What could she want with Rumple?

Zelena used Rumple’s blood to open up his safe in his pawn shop to retrieve the night root to use on David. I think in the grand scheme though that Zelena wants to use Rumple’s dagger to wield the Dark One like some sort of weapon of mass destruction. She may not want to outright kill anyone, but she wants to strike terror into their hearts by controlling Rumple. Whoever controls the Dark One can do great damage, as the duke of the front lands so foolishly tried to do all those centuries before.

I agree. I think Neal and Belle find a way to bring him back but Zelena interferes and ends up taking Rumple and the knife instead. Question is, how did Belle and Neal learn how to bring Rumple back

yeah how? HOW? they wont answer that until the end I hate them. he is worse than dead. he is like the walking dead who their own loved ones have to run from them… it kills me. if I were the writer I’d leave him dead I swear!!

we don’t see anyone mourning him because they are not mourning him. they have much more important things to do… save Repunzel, fight their way into the castle (regina’s) worry about their baby, and hide from monkeys… Rumplestiltskin is dead to them, so what can they do for him anymore? nothing. so they forget him

(ok I’ll be a bit mean here to snowing… what can HE do for them anymore? so they forgot him
