Well, in a sense, we had a zombie in season 1 too, it’s just that Graham was an attractive one, as opposed to your stereotypical zombie. π
π I never thought of Graham like that before, but if Stephanie Myers could make vampires sexy, then surely Adam and Eddy could do the same for zombies!
…
As long as the zombies all look like Graham though, I have no major complaints. πOMG. I have completely changed my view on Graham.
…
Eh, I’m over it. Technically he WAS a zombie, wasn’t he?
What made me think ‘zombies’ when I saw the promo was seeing the decayed bodies that Cora was working her evil stuff on. Or at least I thought they were decayed. It was hard to tell in the little time we saw them. (Anyone got a screenshot?) Actually, I also saw the stereotypical type zombies on next time’s title screen with the blue and all. The figures on that seemed to be stumbling.
That said, I hope I’m wrong. I really hate zombies. Like, REALLY hate them. Especially decayed, stumbling ones with blood and brains and stuff. The stumbling makes them scarier.

Prettiest zombie ever. π

Check the thread in here with the promo shots. Happily, I don’t see any signs of decay. There may still be a bit of stumbling involved, but it seems they’re agile and coordinated enough that one of them could pick Snow up while another one came at her.

This is what every zombie flick is about. When you think about it, the zombies are never the actual threat in a movie, they are used as a device to bring the emotions very close to the surface. You see the best and the worst of people come out in the face of a zombie apocalypse (or any type of apocalypse for that matter…)
I wonder what it will stir with our beloved characters!

Awesome π still why’d they differentiate with Mary Margaret and David? Isn’t it established that they are both lol
November 13, 2012 at 12:56 pm #160572GrimmsisterParticipantThis is a story about stories.
Zombies is just another word for monster, heartless humans controlled as puppets, fits in great.
I’m fine with it. I’m sure they will make it look good and not tasteless, hope so atleast.November 13, 2012 at 4:51 pm #160600kalliopekiseesParticipantI agree with Phee. I donβt think these will be the stereotypical zombie.
Necromancy is a learned βmagicalβ ability. I remember playing D&D back in the day and fighting many a zombie. Many fantasy books also contain zombies and necromancers. So in regards to them not being appropriate for the show, I disagree.
We have Frankenstein, werewolves, and zombies, all we need next is DRACULA!!! I am a huge vampire fanatic. (So is my family. In fact, my mom named me after the witch on Dark Shadows. She watched the show in her youth, loved Angelique, and alas named me after the character. I think poor Angelique loses a lot of herself in Tim Burtonβs remake.)
November 13, 2012 at 5:03 pm #160602midnight drearyParticipantI’m actually not bothered by the idea of zombies being introduced into the story. To me, all of this is magic and fantasy, so anything goes. I see no point in allowing certain magical creatures into the story but not others. It’s all fantasy to me. π
