We don’t know really what happened to the red slippers.
From The Doctor…
Rumpelstiltskin: What about the slippers?
Jefferson: Oh. Couldn’t find ‘em. Heard talk they’ve already been moved to another land.
Rumpelstiltskin: That’s what I needed to get to that other land.
The slippers are in our world, with Dorothy.
Not everything went to SB, there was Snow’s cabinet etc so there is still stuff there at Rumbles place.
A crystal ball isn’t just some random object. I’d imagine that Rumple saw to it that all of his magical valuables ended up with him in SB.
As for the necklace that Emma through down I don’t recall Bae ever picking it up and why would he keep it at that time he loved Tamara.
Neal has always been in love with Emma. Whatever he did or didn’t feel for Tamara, he NEVER fell out of love with Emma, and I simply cannot imagine that he would have left such a specious momento sitting on some bar.

I wonder how much time it does take for that ability to fade? They never said. I’m curious to know. I wasn’t enthralled with the red room when we saw it, but out of all the possibilites @HappyEndings is proposing, it seems like the best. But I really liked what Phee was saying in the chat. Phee? You wanna chime in?

Anything is possible but thus far there is no evidence that Bae can do anything with the Wraith or that he has any kind of power over it.
As for the second thing you propose, maybe? I could see it happening, but that’s a new character and they are trying to streamline the entire season, only introduce characters that are necessary to the overall season, no in one or two episodes but serve no larger purpose."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 12, 2013 at 2:11 pm #204541PheeParticipantFor me, it would be too repetitive to use the dream as a communication tool. Yeah, I sorta think they may not wanna go back and re-use it. It might be weird if no one even contemplates it though, so that’s why I said maybe Aurora will try it, but it won’t work, due to the passage of time not matching up in the different worlds.
Might be harder to explain it away if no one thinks of using it in NL to contact Henry. But I suppose, if they have Hook, and he has knowledge of the Lost Ones, he probably knows where Henry’s being held better than Henry knows himself, so there wouldn’t really be much use of Henry speaking to his grandparents in sleep anyway.
But I really liked what Phee was saying in the chat. Phee? You wanna chime in?
Basically, I was saying how in order for people to communicate in the burning room, they have to be sleep at the same time. When they were communicating between SB and FTL, where time passes at the same rate, it was hard for them to get more than a couple of minutes’ worth of time together in the room in order to speak to each other.
We know that time in NL moves at a different rate, because Wendy was gone for 1 night, but said she thought she’d been gone much longer. So 1 hours’ sleep in FTL could equate to the blink of an eye in NL, which would make it practically impossible for two people to be asleep at the same time long enough to have a conversation in the burning room.
August 12, 2013 at 2:15 pm #204542HappyEndingsSpectatorAgain, we don’t know the time in either land and as for Wendy I am sure she thought it was longer as to what she saw made of seem like she was gone longer. But I don’t think this proves that there is a time difference in my opinion.

It is not repetitive, we have yet to see this “trafficking in names” in Rumple story truly come to the fore front as a plot point. We only guessed it was the name RH that led Rumple to track him. It ties to Bae, who is otherwise like Belle off in a separate story they need to merge.
And I think it could put Rumple in a checkmate situation. Does he leave Henry to get Bae knowing Bae would never forgive him if he did? Yet how could he leave Bae if in danger in FTL? What if PP offered him that deal now–I’ll get you to Bae, leave me Henry? I know Emma would choose Henry this time as she knows Neal was willing to die over that. But would Rumple?
Of course I like the idea of Bae being this wildcard who shows up to help rescue Henry and it is something PP did not anticipate. I think much as we are going to get Hook backstory, we have to at some point get some on Bae. It is a huge mystery how he ever escaped PP.

August 12, 2013 at 2:47 pm #204552PriceofMagicParticipantI like the name thing but if Rumple could track people just by knowing their names then Henry would be found within no time.
As for Bae showing up to help as a wildcard, what if it is Belle that turns up as the wildcard to save Rumple from his “death”?

That’s a fair point. Maybe he needed an item of his son to track his name but didn’t have time to get one of Henry’s I items to make a similar tracking spell.
