I called it before but I’m saying it again: I think the Snow Queen was one of Emma’s foster parents at some point.

Agreed. I think she was Emma’s foster mother when Emma was a baby until she was 3 and was “given back.”

Agreed. But then how does Rumple know about SQ & Emma? He was under the curse when Emma was growing up. Can Rumple see the past as well as the future? Or did he foresee SQ’s evolvement with Emma? Or maybe as part of the curse Emma was suppose to have SQ raise her in our world but things didn’t go according to plan.

We really don’t know how much about Emma Rumple knew pre-curse, especially with what happened with regards to Henry’s adoption. While he claimed to have no knowledge of Henry’s background he is quite likely lying, it is also possible that after Regina made her claims that he further investigated and discover the Snow Queen’s connection to the Savior, keeping such facts as a ace in the hole.
I also have a rather wild theory now knowing that SQ has connections to Emma, I am wondering if she was Emma’s foster mother if she could have somehow limited (froze) Emma’s powers which since arriving in Storybrooke. Jefferson seemed to be convinced that Emma’s magic would be intact rather while in Land Without Magic.

You all are probably right about her being the foster mother, that’s the feeling I got from how she said Emma’s name. If so, I have a Dark-Curse-shaped problem with it, because the Curse was supposed to be a necessary thing for Rumple to get to our world, he spent centuries planning it, then 28 more years before he could get out from under it…but SQ could somehow pop on over to our world to be Emma’s foster mother?
Didn’t emma say that her Foster parents gave her away because they had their own Child?? How would that fit into the story? Did they just tell emma this Story so she could understand it?

That’s what I think. Emma was 3 and anything that actually happened she likely wouldn’t remember.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Well, the Snow Queen had to come to SB at some point, perhaps she was forced to abandon Emma by Rumple and come (back?) to SB.
It could have been part of a deal that she would ensure Emma was properly looked after for the first three years.
Whatever the circumstances I’m convinced that there’s no way you can raise a child for three years and not come to love her. So I think the Snow Queen, at least on some level, still loves Emma.
Babies change lives, even when they’re not your own (speaking as an auntie) – they just change things and make you… not the same as before. I hope the writers don’t overlook this fact.
