Okay… I just realized something, and correct me if I am wrong, but exactly HOW Is Hook A Dark One? If memory serves me right, Emma took the power out of merlin and attached it to Hook, right? But…Merlin was never a dark one. So why is Hook? He has Merlin’s powers, his immortality, etc. Emma has Nimue’s, who is the Dark One. So how the heck does that work? Technically, Hook shouldn’t be a dark one. He should just be the next sorcerer. *confused*

It dosn’t make a whole lot of sense, after I saw it I spent hours trying to figure out how Hook became a Dark One and the best I could come up with was this:

Nimue only became the Dark One after she killed for revenge but  Merlin never killed anyone because he knew what the consequences would be. When Merlin was tethered to Excalibur he didn’t become the Dark One because he had never killed but when Emma gave Hook Merlin’s Powers Hook became a Dark One because he spent years killing people in his revenge quest.

And if that’s not it then I don’t know because that’s the best I can come up with.
