So I have a theory on how Henry ended up in Storybrooke. The idea that no one can enter or leave Storybrooke of course begs the question of how Henry ended up there. Henry got in because he is 100% fairy tale himself, he just doesn’t know it. My theory (and I’m sure this has been said before) is that Bae is Henry’s father and the same man shown at the beginning of the second season. Perhaps when Rumpy was looking for Bae, he unexpectedly found Henry because Henry is blood to Bae. What do you think?

I’m getting from this that he wouldn’t be locating either Emma or Bae – or capable of leaving Storybrooke.
Based on the next episode promo – I'm gaging Rumple's reaction to Charming explaining what happened when Sneezy left Storybrooke as realization that he still won't be able to leave to find his son.
Totally with you that Henry is a loophole and the only baby that could enter Storybrooke because he’s Emma and Baelfire’s.

Thus, wherever she was, the curse would automatically draw her to SB on her 28th birthday. Henry is also a product of true love thus the curse would have drawn him, as an infant, into SB. Hope I’m articulating this properly. Pour true love’s potion into the curse so the curse seeks out true love.

That may be when he calls in his favor from Emma. He may end up telling Emma to go find his son outside of SB, or would have to figure out some way to get him to come over himself.

I wouldn’t label Emma’s relationship with Henry’s father as “true love” just yet. She didn’t talk about him in a favorable tone, and we still haven’t seen what happened between the two of them.
I personally think it was the Blue Fairy who got Henry. Someone in another thread posted bits of her conversation with August during The Return, and she seemed to be in on August’s plan to find the dagger-as if she already had her memories.

A little misunderstanding here I think. I didn’t label Emma’s relationship with Henry’s father as “true love”. Matter of fact, didn’t mention him at all. It’s Emma WHO is the product of “true love” (Snow & PC). That’s why Rumple created the potion with Snow & PC’s hair. That potion enabled him to put the Saviour Clause into the Dark Curse. Thus the curse drawing Emma (product of true love) to SB. As Henry is also a product of “true love” being that he is Emma’s son as well as Snow & PC’s grandchild, the curse also drew him into SB.

Yep, I think Blue was behind the whole thing.
Blue Fairy/Mother Superior knew about baby Henry.
Mother Superior planted the seed in Regina’s mind that she wanted a kid.
Regina went to Mr Gold, coz Rumple gets the babies.
Mr Gold went to Mother Superior coz she’d know of any adoptable orphans.
Mother Superior arranged for Henry to be brought to town, the only truly safe place in this world for the offspring of the Saviour to be living.Considering they’ve confirmed that Rumple didn’t have his memories until he heard Emma’s name, I just don’t see how he could have been the one who orchestrated Henry’s coming to SB by himself. But I’m pretty sure Blue Fairy retained all her memories.
October 5, 2012 at 12:43 pm #155571lilredParticipantI could definitely see the Blue Fairy retaining memories – she did have to rush off before the curse was enacted for the fairy’s ‘final preparation’. My only real issue with this is the fact that the Blue Fairy was hit by the waves of true love and did seem to be effected/restored memory IMHO. But, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t a good actress or had been using a limited collection of memories in her behind the scene workings.
October 5, 2012 at 10:39 pm #155612timespacerParticipantThe idea that the Blue Fairy had her memories in Storybrooke is intriguing, but I still like the idea that Rumple was behind it. Even if he didn’t have his memories, since he designed the curse he could have designed in the equivalent of a post-hypnotic suggestion that would impel him to take any number of actions to break it. Finding the child of Emma may have been only one of many possible actions – knowing Rumple he would have had at least half a dozen backup plans.
