Anyone else think we’ll get another version of this conversation soon? And it’s true Rumple does love his power more than Belle at this point. I think the reason his curse has never broken is because he doesn’t want it to. The Dark One has survived for as long as … well probably forever because of self-preservation. Only when the person has hit rock bottom, like Zoso did, does he find a way out of his predicament. We haven’t seen Rumple at rock bottom, yet. Maybe Belle leaving him and moving on with her life, despite their true love, is what he needs. To lose the last thing thing he has.
