Mad props to the writing and editing teams.
I love that I legit didn’t know if any of them would make it into the cop station to confess without backing out first, and how it all came together with Annalise and Wes rolling up to basically barricade the door to the station. All the little story threads of who told what to who ended up coming together so tightly in the end, and it was awesome. Seriously, the writing on this show is ON POINT.

I believe they’re known as Wesbecca. Speaking of which, nicely played by Wes with the, “You should know, I’m dating her,” to make it seem like he was all about being totally honest with them about the situation.

Many people would have just stayed hidden in the stall if they heard people talking about them like that. But Annalise just struts on out like, “You talkin’ ’bout me, huh,” LIKE A BOSS.
The final exam is literally getting everyone away with murder.
Is she setting that particular test to make them figure it out themselves, or is she just polling the class to see what ideas everyone can come up with that she might be able to use? LOL Either way, I love it.
I still think Annalise killed Lila. There was a gap of about 6 hours (I think) that they estimated the murder took place in, and yes the time Sam was there fits, but there’s still plenty of time for someone else to have done it. Annalise was so confident that she’d be able to get enough evidence to put Sam at the site of the murder within the right time frame. She could very well have been keeping tabs on him already, tracking his whereabouts when he was “out of town” because she already suspected he was cheating, so she could have already known that he’d been at the sorority house at that time, and she could have gone and confronted Lila at some point after Sam had been and gone. If Annalise can build a sufficient case against Sam, (which she appears to have done), then she gets away with murder. Her students killing him benefits her plan because he can never show up to dispute the evidence against him.
Of course, it all can turn to crap if someone discovers that Sam’s dead…and you know someone’s gonna find out.
Meanwhile, an ad just came on my TV for the show. It hasn’t started here yet, the only start date they’ve given is “after the tennis” (Australian Open is on every night at the moment). I hope that any Aussies who start watching it don’t go googling it, because they’ll have the big mystery spoiled. Stupid slow Aussie TV networks are stupid and slow.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 5, 2015 at 11:35 pm #295444WickedRegalParticipantThe sister in law irked me the entire episode…like I know she should be concerned for her brother’s disappearance, but I just was like “LEAVE ANNALISE AND THE KEATON FIVE ALONE!”
You always have that one person who wants to dig up secrets that should stay buried…but that case though, my emotions were conflicted for that woman because on one hand I feel sorry that she grew such an attachment to that child, and will never see her again…on the other…something about her really creeped me out.
Bonnie…based on the promo for next episode…Bonnie don’t you dare turn on Annalise!

February 6, 2015 at 3:57 am #295446PheeParticipantOMGAAAAHHH I just watched it and OMGAAAAHHH THAT ENDING. I mean obviously someone would find his remains at some point, but still, GAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
February 6, 2015 at 7:44 am #295450PheeParticipantOK, I’ve collected the pieces of my brain now, so here are some more coherent thoughts…
Michaela…I think she’s gonna end up being thrown under the bus. I’ve thought for ages that her ring was in a bag of Sam, and now the bags of Sam have been found. In the promo for the next ep it looks like they’ll find the scales off the trophy, so they might start to suspect that that’s the murder weapon. Everyone knows that Michaela took the trophy from Asher that night. So if the ring does turn up with Sam, those bits of info go together to make Michaela shoot to the top of the suspect list.
Now, if the ring DOES show up in a bag of Sam, I have to wonder if Wes put it there. One of the things Annalise has taught them is to establish another suspect, so as the murderer it’d be smart for Wes to plant some evidence that could point towards someone else, like an insurance policy in case Sam’s remains were ever found.
So that brings me to Wes, and how they’re putting focus back on Rudy and the scratches. Rudy’s own grandmother doesn’t even know he’s moved? I’m starting to wonder if Rudy is dead, and that will be the big murder mystery for S2?
Laurel putting the smackdown on her awful family like that almost made me cheer. LOL Her smirk as she was walking out was awesome. Can someone please give her cute brother my number?
I’m gonna guess that Laurel was right when she was suspicious about how much Frank’s been hanging out with Asher. I think it’d make sense if Frank had been tasked with sticking close to Asher so he can sound the alert if it looks like he’s about to do or say something that might implicate one of the others, so Annalise can get a heads up and run damage control. Frank seems to be the damage control guy, what with the fake phone call and disposing of Connor’s car.
I don’t want to feel sorry for Asher, because URGH, but I actually kinda felt sorry for him a bit because I do think he genuinely had his heart stomped on by Bonnie.
Connor, man, poor Connor, and poor Oliver. Seeing as how I know Connor’s side, and how he’s legit felt something for someone for the first time ever and that’s a major thing he’s having to come to terms with, (I almost wanted to cry when he was telling his sister that he has a boyfriend, even though he doesn’t really, but he wants Oliver to be his boyfriend so badly), and I know that the reason he’s lying to Oliver is because he doesn’t want him mixed up in the murder, so he’s trying to protect him…knowing all that, I can give Connor a bit of leeway for how he’s acting. But maaannnn, when Oliver said that thing about how, “what drugs are to you,” and I’m sitting there with my heart breaking because at some point he’s gonna find out that Connor’s totally been lying about having a drug problem. I mean really, Oliver deserves better than Connor. But I love how complex Connor is, and I want him to be happy. But Oliver is just so sweet, like, even when he’s trying to lay ground rules about how they’re NOT dating, he still tries to do it in a calm and sensitive way. GAH, I love them both and they make my heart hurt!
It’s a bit odd how openly Annalise and Nate discussed his wife, and how she knows, and she’s OK with it, and I think Annalise does have some genuine concern about his wife being OK, but yet she still goes and sleeps with her husband. It’s a total hot mess. LOL
Loved the dinner scene with Annalise pouring her heart out in the most honest (or should that be earnest?) way possible to Hannah. Seems like we’re gonna start hating Hannah pretty soon, but in this ep I couldn’t really blame her because I mean her brother just disappeared.
Loved the opening montage of Annalise on her Christmas and New Years bender. It was so sad seeing her completely melt down.
The case of the week was crazy and compelling. I’ve gotta think that how Annalise behaved has something to do with her own experience. Did she have a child that was taken from her at birth (if so please don’t let it be Wes because the sexual tension those two have will then TOTALLY SQUICK me out)?

Yes, same. I wonder if Rebecca killed him. I’m also starting to wonder if those scratches were really “throws of passion” type or something else.

Frank is about 1000% more loyal than Bonnie, it turns out. I think Bonnie is going to be resentful of how much Annalise depends on Frank and now the Keating 5.

Yes, I think that’s where they are going. Annalise was raped and gave the baby up, baby turned into Wes.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 6, 2015 at 12:41 pm #295462JosephineParticipantI am firmly in the Wes is Annalise’s kid corner. I thought that in December and I haven’t changed my mind.
I also think Rudy was killed. They keep bringing him up. Something is up there and I wonder if Rebecca knows. I wouldn’t put it past her. There is something there I just don’t trust about her. I think Rudy’s disappearance is tied with the pregnant virgin and the dead professor somehow and Rebecca is in the middle.
Also, Michaela is so going to be picked out somehow as a suspect. That ring is gone and the statue. It will be a cliffhanger since we only have two episodes left. Ack.
