OK, here comes my ramble about this ep…

Bonnie and Sam making out was ICK!!! Bonnie crying to Annalise at least confirmed that that kiss was a one time thing, “He thought he was finally giving me what I wanted,” I half expected her to confess her undying love to Annalise. Now we know why she went for a booty call, even with Asher, anything to get the ICK of kissing Sam outta her mind.

I was super convinced that Bonnie had killed Lila, but now I think I don’t think she did.

I dunno what to do with Wes. Like, didn’t Annalise expect him to tell Rebecca everything? So I feel like I can’t fault him for doing exactly that because if Annalise expected it then he wasn’t really betraying her confidence? I dunno, man, but I’m starting to think he really is just a sweet little puppy. He thinks that Annalise is who sent Nate to Rebecca, so I wonder how that misunderstanding is gonna play into it?

Lila is kind of annoying, no?

Yes! Man, I feel bad for Rebecca if Lila was her only friend. Though I guess she was friends with Rudy too. Where is he?!

Future mother in law randomly shows up cause she’s obviously crazy

Future MIL is some piece of work. Then again, maybe she really does know Michaela, because honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if she was in the marriage for the money.

My fave thing about this ep is how it set the stage for what happened on murder night.

Michaela went to see Asher to steal the trophy, (had to laugh at how he’d talked up his party, but no one came, he is pathetic).

Bonnie got fired, she left, and ended up going to Asher’s.

Rebecca went to see Wes, then she left, with the thing to get the info off Sam’s computer.

Then Connor and Laurel showed up at Wes’ place for the study group, (sidenote: I probably shouldn’t have been surprised that Frank has a girlfriend, but it shocked me to see her there).

So we’ve got Michaela going to the house on her own. Wes, Connor and Laurel will go there as a group. And Rebecca’s out on her own, but doing a job for Nate.

In the promo, it looks like Sam’s gonna chase Rebecca upstairs? And Michaela seems to be looking up the stairs as she’s, “OMG”ing into the phone, so she might see them run up there? And Wes may be the person on the other end of the phonecall, (unless it’s Aiden calling again and she picks up this time instead of ignoring the call like when she was at Asher’s)? Sam’s body wasn’t upstairs though, he was killed downstairs. So somehow we’ve gotta get him back downstairs in order to be killed. And Rebecca has to be with him if she got splattered with all that blood.

Maybe Sam drags her back downstairs? Maybe she gets a call away before he grabs her, but maybe she doesn’t call Wes because of their fight, and instead she calls Nate? I just have this feeling that Nate killed Sam, and he’d come running if Rebecca alerted him that she was in trouble. Michaela probably hid in the shadows and watched everything happen without being noticed, and that’s why she’s such a wreck when they’re trying to clean stuff up.

Is it next week yet? How about now? NOW?!

A few more random thoughts…

Annalise telling the wife in the crime of the week that, “You’ll thank me later,” I wonder if that’s foreshadowing for Annalise forgiving Bonnie and taking her back at some point?

Felt kinda bad for Connor when Annalise gave him the smackdown for being useless if he’s not able to screw someone to get the info. Like, fair call considering how he usually operates, but you could see by his reaction that it got to him. I’m hoping for some big growth for him as he does start to rely on that “talent” of his less.

Might Michaela play the “you slept with a guy and I’m telling your mother if you don’t get her to back off about the pre-nup,” card?

I felt bad for him too. I think Connor uses his sexuality to hide a very dark and painful past. Layers! Complex characters! So when Annie calls him on that being his only talent, it reinforces that he’s not really good enough for anything else. Poor guy.
