No wonder Wes was so fricking in charge, insisting they go back for the body and everything, HE WAS WORKING WITH ANNALISE and they had a whole plan figured out!!
Also, it makes me LOL that sleeping with Nate is gonna be Annalise’s alibi because a couple of weeks ago we thought Bonnie sleeping with Asher was HER alibi. So close, and yet so far.
I have more thoughts, but first need to collect up the pieces of my brain that got sploded.

That ending….THAT ENDING!!!!! YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear…nothing beats HTGAWM on ABC now….I don’t care how long it’s aired or how loved it is….nothing can leave you breathless and shocked unconscious like HTGAWM!
Wes may have killed Sam, but Viola Davis has slayed us with her brilliant acting!!!! (plotting to steal all Oscar, emmy, and tony awards and just delivering them to Viola) 🙂
That ending with Annalise sitting in the chair in the dark had me like…
January Please Come Quickly!!! I NEED MY #TGIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, it’s just gonna make things worse in the long run because now he’s gotta KEEP lying about having a drug addiction, and you know that eventually Oliver will find out that he’s been lied to again, which makes me sad because I heart Oliver and really wanted them to find a way to make their relationship open and honest and happy and now I just dunno if that will be possible.
“Enough about the ring, Frodo” made me LOL OMG perfect line is perfect!
Honestly, I thought Michaela might call off the wedding, because losing her ring was the last straw, so colour me surprised that she actually signed the pre-nup. Where is her ring gonna turn up?! She busted open one of the bags of Sam parts, there are potentially Sam parts on her clothes and/or on the road next to the dumpster.
Still no one has noticed that the scales from the trophy are missing. This is a thing someone needs to notice and start worrying about!!!
The fight between Annalise and Sam was everything, holy crap! Both actors BROUGHT IT. Sam was such a *word I can’t say here* with the pinning her against the wall and those things he said to her. I am not at all sorry that he’s dead.
Viola was perfection in every scene, (which is nothing new). When she left that desperate, “I’m so sorry, please come home,” message I totally bought that it was her real conflicted feelings and I was like, “Oh honey NO, you DON’T want him, LET ME HUG YOU,” but it turns out it was just for show so she can’t be implicated in his disappearance and that just leaves me even more in awe of her performance.

I was so proud of Connor for not dragging Oliver in this as well!!!!
And for the rest of that quote… #PREACH!

What I wouldn’t give to see Annalise’s face when she walked in and saw Sam on the floor. Please let this be a thing we still get to see.
How much of this did Annalise set up? I’ve seen some talk on tumblr…
People do realize that Annalise told Wes about the baby knowing he’d tell Rebecca who she knows is reckless…she gets rid of bonnie who is always there! she then started an argument with Sam even purposely pushed his buttons leaving him heated and temperamental she leaves lets the first part of the downfall play out.
On the one hand, I could buy it, because it would certainly explain why she told Wes about the pregnancy, and that seemed like an odd thing to confide in him because of course she’d know he’d tell Rebecca.
But I dunno that Annalise’s anticipated endgame would have been Sam ending up dead, because how could she have known for sure that that would happen? Unless she really does believe that Rebecca is capable of murder, and murdering a man much bigger than her at that?
I can see her setting it up as far as wanting it to appear that she was pushed into getting the DNA tests of Lila’s teachers. That would have been enough to publicly humiliate Sam, potentially get him convinced of murder, and she’d be rid of him. But I think the part where he ended up dead was probably a bonus she hadn’t been anticipating.
November 21, 2014 at 7:57 am #291184PheeParticipantI have a couple of theories, a little one that I’m gonna stick with and something more crack that I’ll probably end up changing my mind about, but gonna put it out there anyway…
1) The scales from the trophy were in the bag that Michaela busted open, and they fell out onto the ground and will be found there.
2) This has been eating away at me since last week when Lila went to Annalise’s place and called out for her. I wonder if Annalise went to find her after that, and killed her, and all this stuff with trying to get evidence to incriminate Sam was her trying to get away with murder. Now that he’s “disappeared” she figures it’s a bonus because they can still pin the pregnancy DNA evidence on him, and it makes him look more guilty because he “ran away”, and that will make it easier for her to get away with it. I wasn’t so sure about the idea after last week, just because she seemed to be genuinely discovering the affair over the course of the show. But now having seen this week’s, now knowing that girlfriend can act her rear end off if need be to try and divert suspicion from herself…I am officially suspicious.
Then my next question is, if that ends up being right, that she killed Lila and is trying to frame Sam, all of that is gonna go to crap once it’s discovered that he didn’t run away, he was killed, (and you know that that’s gonna come out), so then what would Annalise’s next move be?
(I’ve totally be spamming this thread, but I keep having things pop into my head and I’ve gotta let them out.)

Yeah, finding the ring might come into play later but I think the scales of justice (irony!) will be found first as things begin to untangle.

That’s pretty good! It’s interesting that we know who killed Sam not, but not Lila. Something much bigger is coming our way with regards to Lila.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 21, 2014 at 8:40 am #291194JosephineParticipantWhile I slept, Phee has been theorizing and obsessing. 😛 Gotta love time differences.
I’ve been in a “Bonnie killed Lilah” frame of mind for awhile now, but it totally makes sense for it to be Annalise. So assume she overheard the Lilah, goes to talk to her, finds out she’s pregnant and then kills her. Annalise suffered from miscarriages and I would imagine felt like she was a failure for her inability to get pregnant, and then there is this little “virgin” who has an affair with her husband and gets knocked up immediately. The straw that broke the camel’s proverbial back.
I think one thing we know is that Viola Davis is definitely getting a Golden Globe nomination when they come out in a few weeks. And then an Emmy nom next summer. I was shocked when she was giving her little voicemail speech about pleading with him to come home, but then did realize this is her ace in the hole. She looks like the worried, forgiving wife and along with her spending the night with Nate, she has an airtight alibi.
So Wes isn’t the wide-eyed innocent thought of in the pilot. It will be interesting to see where this goes from here.
And they’re reairing the episodes. Are we watching to look for clues again? (Jo is codependent in her tv watching.)
