I don’t think Wes and Anna are actual blood related but I could be wrong.
I do think the mother son sexual dynamic is intentional and play off of the Freudian complex of sons want to kill their fathers and married their mothers. Its weird blurry dark uncomfortable and puts you on edge. AND I think its completely intentional by the writers. I don’t think we suppose to ship it we suppose to be creeped out by it. I think Anna sees herself in the murderous four thats why she selected them. They are all aspects of herself. They represent her pysche and characterization. If you want to go deep with it.

@Ranisha….that was brilliant! THIS! You…You hit it right on the nail! I never thought of her students each holding some form of Annalise in them, and now that I think about it….it makes sooo much sense!
Annalise Traits:
Michaela: A ruthless(when she wants to be) go getter! A resilient hard worker who never gives up!
Connor: Highly sexual, and can use it(or his cunning ways) to his advantage when needed!
Wes: Quiet, a bit naïve, and may seem like he doesn’t pose much of a threat, but probably has the most potential!
Laurel: An Examiner! Intelligent gal who digs deeper into a situation to find her answers!
Each student holds a piece of Annalise in them!
