This may be a little far fetched but hear me out. What if with everything going on right now, with the whole town thinking MM is a “tramp” and all, that she gets upset and decides to pack up and leave town without telling anyone. As we all know “bad things happen to people when they try to leave town” , so she gets into a terrible accident and loses a lot of blood. In which case she needs a donor to survive. At this point Emma and David are the only two people in town that are willing to donate blood in effort to help save MM’s life. Once their blood is extracted test have to be ran to ensure that it is free of any disease , and it is at that point, someone realizes that all three are related….
Thoughts?

I think when the Charmings realize that they are all related, it won’t be through a DNA story because that is too easy. I’m thinking it be an epiphany either from Emma that MM and David are her parents, or MM realizing that maybe Emma is her daughter.
I agree with obisgirl. DNA would be far too easy.
Btw, I want more Emma&David moments. We didn’t have that many yet and I’m curious how they interact … I guess we'll see some in the upcoming episodes. I mean, for now they’re really distant. Then again women connect easier, I guess?
I am not sure that David and Emma are going to be having any happy moments together what with Kathryn missing and what happened between Mary and David in the last episode.
I am sure they will have some scene in the next episode because Kathryn has gone missing and Emma is sheriff so it makes sense that she would talk to David about that and they will probably talk about Mary as well.
I am sure there will be some kind of revolution. Remember when MM saw the baby blanket? She seemed to have a look of remembeence and her voice changed slightly. David has yet to see the blanket or anything related to Emma (object wise) from the past.
Also I don’t think he had paid much attention to the ring on Mary Margret’s finger. All objects seem to spark some memories, we just haven’t seen the one to jog both Mary’s and David’s.
Perhaps they all need to be around the object at the sane time.
