My bets are on Archie or Ruby.
Something I just thought of though, unless Emma or Henry uses magic to heal Mr. Gold, they could trade Cora’s life for his with the candle. I didn’t notice it (will rewatch tomorrow!) But does Snow still have the candle? Read on here someone assumed she does.[adrotate group="5"]Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

I like this idea. Hmm… Where did the candle go?
I don’t think the curse would have it end up with Snow but it maybe in Gold’s shop, since he seems to have collected most of the key FL relics.https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/52/cb/c6/52cbc6149415054d0d0aba04c3536bae.jpg

Remember when she buried Johanna – she noted that Regina’s family vault was untouched. Maybe she decided to change that? In her new found “being good is not always right” mode.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that she kills someone by crushing that heart though. Promos are designed to trick us. 😉
I believe that Snow still has the candle, and will use it to save someone, (likely Charming), and kill Cora. Though I’ve been holding out hope that Regina would kill Cora, doing it this way instead would be perfectly poetic, because Cora tricked Snow into taking the object which was ultimately used to kill her. Cora wanted to turn Snow’s heart to coal. Karma can be a real *bleep*.
March 4, 2013 at 12:50 pm #176855jolly rogerParticipantI was re-watching the promo for the hundredth time when I realised something that I kept missing/not taking in. Regina pushes Emma against a wall and raises the dagger as if to stab her. At first I thougt that theres no way she will stab Emma because she can’t die – her role is too major. But then I remembered the candle. Other posters on here are speculating that Snow might’ve kept the candle because we didn’t actually see her give it back to Blue (Cora).
So here’s my theory:
Cora and Regina fight against the good guys. Regina pushes Emma (maybe with magic) and stabs her with the dagger. The good guys manage to get rid of Cora and Regina and try to heal Emma. Snow then decides to use the candle because there is no way she would let her own daughter die when she knows there is something she can do to save her. Instead of choosing someone to kill, she goes into Reginas’ grave thing where all her hearts are and picks one; not knowing who is going to die. And that could be why Charming sais ‘what did you do’. Then after Emma is saved, we find out whos heart it was. I’m thinking that maybe Cora took a good guys heart, such as a dwarf or Red, and she ends up unknowingly killing them.I know this seems kinda out there, but they did say this episode was big, and it was a big turning point for Snow. So what do you think? Too unrealistic?

That is brilliant!
Snow doesn’t have to crush the heart. Remember what Cora (as the Blue Fairy) said to her?
“You must hold the candle over the heart of your sacrifice…”But who keeps their heart in a box? Unless there’s a minor twist, the only person we know who is currently keeping their heart outside their body is Cora. I’m guessing Snow finds Cora’s heart, and trades her life for Gold’s.
Regardless of what happens, I wonder if Gold will think he's cheated death and the prophesy…or if he'll recover and still go after Henry. Which would…suck.
Of course, if Cora dies this way, then Regina will have even more reason to hate Snow. 😥
March 4, 2013 at 1:08 pm #176862HappyEndingsSpectatorHow could Snow kept the candle when the curse happened she just had the baby so she wasn’t carrying the candle with her when she came to storybrooke ❓
As for Emma this is the episode that Regina and Emma use magic against each other. 😀

I would honnestly prefer to see Snow crush the heart with all her might. Cora needs to go. NOW.
March 4, 2013 at 1:11 pm #176864jbwood5ParticipantSnow using the candle over Cora’s heart to save Gold is the best guess. Gold would lose his powers since Cora stabs him with the dagger and he would lose his powers (his undoing) but it happened in the war for Henry and that is how Henry is to blame.
March 4, 2013 at 1:34 pm #176865naomiParticipant^I was thinking that it would be interesting if Gold lost his powers too.
I think they want us to believe that Henry is the boy in the prophesy, and it is definitely looking that way right now. Henry wants to get his camera, so they go back to Neal’s apartment, Hook finds Rumple and stabs him, and maybe loses his powers or dagger as a result. So Henry –>(lots of stuff happens)–> Gold’s undoing.
But as some people have pointed out, and as Robert mentioned in an interview yesterday, Henry might not be the “boy”. It would be interesting if Gold believed that the prophesy was being fulfilled before his very eyes, but it actually wasn’t. It means there’s a further undoing for Rumple…and it boggles my mind to think what the writers have planned.
Spoilery for 2×18: I still think the child who is “not what he seems” is August. Maybe Baelfire dies saving child!Pinocchio or something and that causes Rumple to go mental. Hm. *is shot*Man, one week until the MIller’s Daughter, and I already feel bad for Snow. 😥 If she does something bad, I just know she’ll hate herself for a long time.
