As far as Blue and her memories: you’re right. There is no definitive moment to point to and go “Ah-ha! She has her memories,” but their might be hints in her open hostility to Rumple from “The Return” and the fact that she is supposed to be the most powerful “good” magic in FTL, yet she couldn’t do anything about the curse, especially given that Good always wins?? She’s either got her own agenda or really ineffective.
Let’s also not forget that in The Return, August went to see Mother Superior, and we saw them ending a tense conversation in whispered tones. That was pretty much the moment I figured that Mother Superior still had her memories. Why would Mother Superior be having secretive meetings with August? Unless they were meeting as Blue and Pinocchio.
Not to mention that sly smile on her face when Rumple first approached her from behind and just before she turned to face him. She knows.
Also wondering about that typewriter. If Rumple was able to enchant Bae’s baby shawl and it holds its magic in the real world then who’s to say that a typewriter can’t be enchanted? Some stories have a magic lamp that grants wishes, others have a tinder box that sends out magical dogs and some just may have a magical typewriter that tells you the truth and tells story book stories.

And the TV show Fringe did something similar where characters from another universe could send message to their universe from our universe by means of a typewriter. Perhaps Blue has a typewriter that they’ve magicked and that’s how she sends messages.

Why wouldn’t she be extra careful making sure some one as powerful as the Blue Fairy lost her memory? That just seems sloppy to me…on Regina’s part.
We know Jefferson never lost his memories because that was his curse…to watch his daughter be happy with another family. He also worked for Rumple. And there were deleted scenes between August and Jefferson. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jefferson found out about Bae or that August had visited storybrooke before he found Emma. Jefferson also could have run into Bae in another world…..
I think that since they are recasting Jefferson instead of just dropping the character that there is definitely more to his involvement

A second theory that is rather spoilery so I’ll black it out. In the next few episodes we learn that Neal has a fiance named Tamara. If Neal if in fact Peter Pan, then many have speculated that Tamara is Tinkerbell. Perhaps she was tasked by Blue to keep track of Neal once in our world. And that's how Blue has her information
That’s possible. Another theory I saw the other day was the reason August knew was because he was there when Baelfire was sucked into the green vortex.
But I would be really disappointed if that turns out to be the reason.

But unless August is also a time-turner, how could he have been there when Rumple broke his deal with Baelfire? Rumple lost Baelfire about 250 years ago and Geppetto didn’t carve Pinocchio from an enchanted tree until about 7 years before Emma was born.

Now THAT would be a new, but fun, twist, but might be stretching it, even for this show. If a father lets his son drop into a portal in the woods, does anyone see it? Yes, if one of the trees in those woods is chopped down and carved into a puppet over 200 years later and then turns out to be a real boy who has a very good long-term memory!

😆 😆 Exactly. 😆 😆
February 27, 2013 at 4:30 pm #175753RumplesGirlKeymasteri don’t know if the the “tree is Pinocchio” thing is real and serious or not. I can’t decide. But mostly I’m laughing hysterically.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 27, 2013 at 4:58 pm #175763gypsyParticipantIn the Disney film, when Jiminy opens the book to tell the story of Pinocchio, there are two other books visible on the shelf.
One is Peter Pan and the other is Alice in Wonderland.
So, there’s is a connection between the 3 stories – Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland. We know August knows Neal/Bae and, if suspicions are correct, Peter Pan.
We know there is some connection between Neal/Bea and Alice in Wonderland – we have the Cleaner’s and Hatter’s sign and the monacles in his apartment and there’s an Alice In Wonderland statue in Central Park. So, I believe Neal/Bae knows Jefferson. I believe they met in Neverland at some point before the curse. Being that Bae (PP) was probably jumping between our world and Neverland for centuries, at this point, he already had his our world alias (Neal Cassady) and told Jefferson what his name was. Jefferson knows everything about Bae and probably Rumple and what happened between them – could be part of the falling out Rumple and Jefferson had and partly why Jefferson stopped his ‘work’ with Rumple (along with whatever happened to Grace’s mother).
So, let’s just say – Pinocchio knows Peter Pan, The Mad Hatter knows Peter Pan and I think The Mad Hatter and Pinocchio know each other, also.
I think August made at least one other trip to Storybrooke, prior to when we see him arrive in True North.
I think it was before he ran into Neal/Bae.
During that trip, August meets up with Jefferson. Jefferson tells him about Neal/Bae. August goes in search of him and finds Emma.
When August returns to Storybrooke, 10 yrs later, he reconnects with Jefferson. Jefferson tells him about the book, because Jefferson wrote it (which is another theory, entirely). They work together, August adds his story – at Jefferson’s house – he’s clearly not at his room at Granny’s when he does this.
Jefferson is the one that tells August about the dagger.
Jefferson is the one August is talking to on the phone when he says they have to excelerate the plan.
August and Jefferson are the only 2 ppl in SB that are shown actively trying to convince Emma to believe.
There are also deleted scenes showing August at Jefferson’s house.February 27, 2013 at 5:08 pm #175765RumplesGirlKeymasterWow. Really well done Gypsy!
For sure the trio of Bae, August, and Jefferson know each other or know of each other. There were so many hints that Neal was maybe the White Rabbit (I don’t think he is) but so many “Wonderland” connections that for him not to know Jefferson seems unlikely."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
