Maybe spellbinding = devastating. If the curse’s fail-safe is activated, it puts on spell on SB so that it is no more. 😕

April 30, 2013 at 4:48 am #189967rumbelledearieParticipantHm, my worry is this —
Apparently Mr. Gold is going to tell Lacey, and maybe Lacey DOES encourage him to hurt Henry, however it has been majorly hinted at that Belle will get her memory back and in the other interview posted recently Robert Carlyle said that there will be a sweet moment between Rumbelle but “it doesn’t last long”. I was thinking that that meant they will reunite but there will be sadness in the finale so the happiness from the reunion wouldn’t last long. BUT if Mr. Gold tells Lacey about the prophecy and then her memories return, Belle will then know what Mr. Gold has been hiding/debating and that might be a step too far for her (especially if he’s done something to Henry already).
I’m not feeling good about Gold/Nealfire or Rumbelle AT ALL now.
The only comfort I have is the pictures of Gold and Belle/Lacey at his shop and on the docks. I'm thinking she's Belle at the docks scene because she's not wearing one of Lacey's jackets but a long more conservative blue coat, and they're arm in arm there so Rumbelle might still be together ❓
So nervous about the game-changer between Gold and Neal though 😕April 30, 2013 at 4:57 am #189968lisasParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:
Only one episode remains before the “Once Upon a Time” Season 2 finale, and creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz teased what to expect from the final two hours of the season on Monday morning.
The co-creators screened the first two acts of the penultimate episode, “Second Star to the Right,” for a small group of reporters and answered some burning questions as well.
Here’s what The Huffington Post learned during our conversation with Kitsis and Horowitz. Warning: Light spoilers ahead!
Love is in the Air
Despite all the doom and gloom of a magical trigger that could potentially wipe Storybrooke off the map, the showrunners promised that there would still be developments on the romantic front. “You see Emma [Jennifer Morrison] really suppressing her feelings. It’s obvious she still holds a torch for Neal; it’s obvious that he still has feelings for her,” Kitsis said. “She’s so scarred. It’s hard for her to open up her heart … I’d like to explore that and I think next year we’d love to explore what happens when other people find love — we see it with Rumple, but I think love is pretty much what the franchise of the show is. Everyone’s in search of it but they pick really stupid ways to get to it.”Horowitz agreed, “Before the end of the season, you’ll see more of the Rumple and Belle/Lacey relationship, so love plays a big part in the rest of the season. Whether they’ll be happy and together is another question …”
Magic Touch
The show will also “explore the magic inside” Emma in the final two installments, Kitsis previewed. “I think there’s a part of Emma that is still reeling from all this. I don’t think she cares for it — was the first time she starts to question it … She’s really embraced being a mother this year, and she’s really coming to grips with it … In the finale, it’s going to set up for her next year to say I have a new purpose and maybe it’s time I commit either one way or the other.”http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/29/once-upon-a-time-season-finale_n_3180997.html?utm_hp_ref=tv
I think it’s fairly obvious that SwanFire is the endgame. It sounds to me like Emma & Neal will eventually get back together. I think we may see the beginnings of that happening in 2×21 & 2×22
RG if you’re offering cookies over Rumple & Belle/Lacey count me in

Bad Company
The producers promised a “very honest conversation” between Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle/Lacey (Emilie de Ravin) in “Second Star to the Right,” which will also play into the prophecy about Henry (Jared Gilmore) somehow being his grandfather’s undoing. “Right now he’s … clearly on a bender with Lacey, he’s clearly abandoned his son. Our characters like to repeat their own mistakes because I think we as humans constantly repeat our own mistakes,” Kitsis pointed out. “The villains this year are all trying to go on the straight and narrow and none of them can seem to get off the bottle, and so … I would hate to find out, if [Lacey] heard about this prophecy, what she thinks about letting a little child stand in the way.“That sounds really foreboding and really bad for Grandpastiltskin’s relationship with his son and with Henry. Rumple is siding with Lacey, who brings out his dark side. 😕 Can I have one of those cookies, please? 😥
Lacey is totally gonna tell him to let the kid fry, isn’t she? 😯 😕 On the plus side though, perhaps that will be Rumple’s breaking point where he realises, “Wait up, NO, giving into this dark stuff just because Lacey likes it is NOT the right thing to be doing after all.” Perhaps?
April 30, 2013 at 12:53 pm #190007RumplesGirlKeymasterI would hope so, Phee. I would hope that the sight of the woman he loves (she looks like Belle!) wanting a kid to die would be enough to pull Rumple out of this nightmare. *cookies all around*

You know when Eddy ships Emma and Neal, it’s cannon. 😀

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 30, 2013 at 3:49 pm #190045KebParticipantSo my waking thoughts are, what if Rumple tells Lacey what he’s scared of re Henry and she reacts in horror. She might like Dark Gold but killing a kid (or killing anyone) is too far for her? She’s not actually -evil-, not anymore than Snow and David were when they were cheating (“cheating” since they were technically already married to each other?) on Kathryn. She’s just giving in to her darker desires as per the curse.
And so he loses Lacey, and his chance at Belle, and any chance of Bae coming to like him cuz all Bae sees is him hurting people (Emma, Whale, maybe Keith) the same way he did in FTL.
That’s rock bottom for him. And that’s when he’d have to make a choice for good.
And as much as I want TLK for Rumbelle, it does leave poor Sneezy out in the cold, cuz dwarves can’t love (unless they’re Dreamy).
Also, Belle, Bae, and Henry could all bond over having (slightly) abusive, controlling parents. Would pay for that scene. Jus’ sayin’.

April 30, 2013 at 3:57 pm #190046kfchimeraParticipantI think it calls for more than cookies……I’m getting out the cake. I think either way, Rumpel is going to see reason. Either Lacey going that Dark causes him to say no, this is NOT Belle, or she recoils from him, if it comes to Henry….they aren’t going to be in agreement that taking out Henry is the way to go. At least, that is what I’m telling myself even though I know there’s holes in that logic 😆
Yes, Emma and Neal are happening–but definitely sounds like it will be a rough road that unfolds slowly with twists and turns…..”exploring” they said.
